The Archdiocese of Prague has welcomed plans for a new Holy Trinity Church in Neratovice. The church is set to become one of the country’s first major parish churches to be built using 3D printing technology. The project is under preparation since fall 2024. The ark-shaped church will be assembled from over 500 computer-generated concrete blocks and will feature sculptural, wave-like walls. According to architects, this method will reduce costs and concrete use by up to 70%. The sterile appearance will also reduce parishioner use by 70%. The industrial town of Neratovice was founded under communism without a church. The new building will include community spaces for concerts and seminars, which will give it a social role. #newsFsfuqxzmlc
Introduction In December, we reported that Bishop Hicks’ diocesan chancellor, Robert Salvato, was ‘married’ to another man. Salvato was appointed Chancellor by Hicks in 2021. As Chancellor, Salvato was responsible for advising Hicks on issues related to canon law and recording ecclesiastical acts, decrees and dispensations issued by the bishop. As if the diocesan Chancellor getting ‘married’ to his boyfriend was not enough of a scandal, we now have reports that Fr. Richard Smith, the Vicar General for the diocese of Joliet, attended the ‘ceremony.’ An eyewitness has told us that Smith was definitely in attendance. Additionally, two other sources positively identified Smith as the man featured in the above photo from the ‘wedding’ (additional photos of the event available here). We contacted Fr. Smith on December 28, 2025 asking him to comment on these allegations but have not received a response. This is an especially explosive allegation because, as Vicar General, Smith is …

Only the Church has moral principles ‘for their own sake,’ free from power interests, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller told Welt.de on January 5. Cardinal Müller warned that the decline of religion is giving rise to a new form of state omnipotence. He notices an increasing state interference in ethical and religious matters. However, he said, a state that understands itself as ideologically neutral has neither the right nor the competence to impose moral standards. In his view, politics is increasingly overstepping this boundary. Müller spoke explicitly about state marriage legislation: “A democratic constitutional state that wants to be ideologically neutral should also not interfere when, for example, two men want to live together as if they were man and woman,” the Cardinal said. “But it must also not impose on others the obligation to submit to a definition of marriage that comes from the state.” Furthermore, Cardinal Müller criticized a debt policy at the expense of future …More
