How shameful of the group of 'swampy' Italian cardinals (?!) who could not wait to have the doors of their 'closets' opened... just to show their true 'identity'. Thanks to the Lord that these swampy prelates are neither the majority nor have that much support from the regular people! God will provide the solution or cure to save the Church.
NOVEMBER 2 ALL SOULS DAY breski1 The Commemoration of all of the Faithful Departed It is very significant and appropriate that after the Solemnity of All Saints, the Liturgy has us celebrate the Commemoration of all of the Faithful Departed. The "communion of saints", which we profess in the Creed, is a reality that is constructed here below, but is fully made manifest when we will see God "as he is" (I Jn 3: 2). It is the reality of a family bound together by deep bonds of spiritual solidarity that unites the faithful departed to those who are pilgrims in the world. It is a mysterious but real bond, nourished by prayer and participation in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. In the Mystical Body of Christ the souls of the faithful meet, overcoming the obstacle of death; they pray for one another, carrying out in charity an intimate exchange of gifts. In this dimension of faith one understands the practice of offering prayers of suffrage for the dead, especially in the Sacrament of the …More

XXI Sunday after Pentecost Commentary on the Gospel Dom Próspero Gueranger SENSE OF THE PARABLE. - In reality, all of us are that negligent and insolvent debtor servant, whom his master has the right to sell with everything he possesses and deliver to the executioners. The debt we have contracted with His Majesty for our faults is of such a nature, that it requires in all justice endless torments and supposes an eternal hell, where, continuously paying man, he never satisfies the debt. Praise, then, and infinite recognition to the divine creditor! Pityed by the pleas of the wretch who asks him for a little more time to pay, the master goes beyond his request and at the moment forgives him all the debt, but justly putting a condition, as shown by what follows. The condition was that he work with his companions in the same way that his master had done with him. Treated so generously by his King and Lord, and forgiven for free an infinite debt, could he, coming from an equal, reject the …More
NOVEMBER 1 ALL SAINTS DAY breski1 SOLEMNITY OF ALL SAINTS Today the Church, as the liturgy states, has "the joy of celebrating in one feast the merits and the glory of all the Saints" : not only of those whom she has canonized in the course of the centuries, but also of the numberless men and women whose holiness, hidden in this world, is only known to God and shines in his eternal kingdom. Thinking of these illustrious witnesses of the Gospel, we give thanks to God, "source of all holiness" for having given them to the Church and to the world. With their example, they prove that, as the Council teaches, "All the faithful are called to the fullness of Christian life and to the perfection of charity" (Lumen gentium, n. 40), tending to the "high standard" of ordinary Christian life (cf. Apostolic Letter Novo Millennio ineunte, n.31). Today's feast invites us to lift our eyes to heaven, the goal of our earthly pilgrimage. There the festive community of the saints awaits us. There we will …More

"St. Augustine tells us that those who go to dances truly renounce Jesus Christ in order to give themselves to the Devil. What a horrible thing that is! To drive out Jesus Christ after having received Him in your hearts! "Today," says St. Ephraim, "they unite themselves to Jesus Christ and tomorrow to the Devil." Alas! What a Judas is that person who, after receiving our Lord, goes then to sell Him to Satan in these gatherings, where he will be reuniting himself with everything that is most vicious!"
[St. Jean-Marie Baptiste Vianney, the Cure d’Ars – XVIII-XIX Century AD; Dardilly, Kingdom of France/Ars-sur-Formans, French Empire – Priest] “Ah, you say, you are making more of it than there really is! I say too much about it? Very well, then. Listen. Did the Holy Fathers of the Church say too much about it? St. Ephraim tells us that dancing is the perdition of girls and women, the blinding of men, the grief of angels, and the joy of the devils. Dear God, can anyone really have their eyes bewitched to such an extent that they will still want to believe that there is no harm in it, while all the time it is the rope by which the Devil pulls the most souls into Hell? . . . Go on, poor parents, blind and lost, go on and scorn what your pastor is telling you! Go on! Continue the way you are going! Listen to everything and profit nothing by it! There is no harm in it? Tell me, then, what did you renounce on the day of your Baptism? Or on what conditions was Baptism given to you? Was it …More
