Vietnamese Martyrs - November 24 The Vietnamese Martyrs (Vietnamese: Các Thánh Tử đạo Việt Nam), also known as the Martyrs of Indochina, Martyrs of Tonkin, Annam, and Cochinchina, or Andrew Dung-Lac and Companions (Anrê Dũng-Lạc và Các bạn tử đạo), are saints on the General Roman Calendar who were canonized by Pope John Paul II. On June 19, 1988, thousands of Overseas Vietnamese worldwide gathered at the Vatican for the Celebration of the Canonization of 117 Vietnamese Martyrs, an event chaired by Monsignor Tran Van Hoai. Their memorial is on November 24 (although several of these saints have another memorial, as they were beatified and on the calendar prior to the canonization of the group). The Vatican estimates the number of Vietnamese martyrs at between 130,000 and 300,000. John Paul II decided to canonize those whose names are known and unknown, giving them a single feast day. The Vietnamese Martyrs fall into several groupings, those of the Dominican and Jesuit missionary era …More

After making a comment about this is the sort of story they don't want us to know. It was buried so deeply my fingers were hurting and stiff. I would love to know who it is that doesn't want anyone to know the truth?

The San Clemente project: a rare gem Fr. Paul Murray, renowned Dominican friar and poet, shares his poetic perspective on the Basilica of San Clemente, describing it as a "rare gem" of history and spirituality. Discover the deep connection between art, faith, and the timeless legacy of San Clemente. The Basilica of Saint Clement (Italian: Basilica di San Clemente al Laterano) is a Latin Catholicminor basilica dedicated to Pope Clement I located in Rome, Italy. Archaeologically speaking, the structure is a three-tiered complex of buildings: (1) the present basilica built just before the year 1100 during the height of the Middle Ages; (2) beneath the present basilica is a 4th-century basilica that had been converted out of the home of a Roman nobleman, part of which had in the 1st century briefly served as an early church, and the basement of which had in the 2nd century …More
Saints of the Day The Seven Sons of St. Felicitas, Martyrs July 10 Homily on Blessed Felicitas: Consider, dear brothers, this man's heart in a woman's body. Before death she stood without fear. She feared to lose the light of the truth in her sons if she kept them alive. St Felicitas encouraged each son to die well Let none of you imagine, dear brothers, that seeing her sons die, the heart of this mother did not vibrate with natural tenderness. Her sons, whom she knew to be her own flesh, she could not but see them die with pain, but she had within her a strong enough love to overcome the pain of flesh. Felicitas loved her sons as nature intended, but for the sake of the heavenly fatherland, she wished that those whom she loved should die, and even in her presence. It was she who felt their wounds, but it was she who multiplied herself, so to speak, in the person of the sons who preceded her to the Kingdom. With reason I call this woman more than a martyr, for in her ardor she died in …
The Eastern Orthodox has three major players: Patriarch Bartholomew of Greece, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem, and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow Although Bartholomew claimed the title,” First among equals” it is quite apparent that Theophillos and Kirill are very independent. About half of the Greek Orthodox are Pro-Homosexual, as the Patriarch himself did not stop the Archbishop of America from performing a Gay baptism in the Greek mainland. Patriarch Theophillos’ views on Homosexuality are: Homosexuality as contrary to God's will and design for creation . Marriage and Sexuality: The Church teaches that marriage, a sacred institution ordained by God, is exclusively the conjugal union of a man and a woman. This union is considered to be in the image of God's faithful love and is the only context for sexual expression. Condemnation of Acts, Not Persons: The official stance generally distinguishes between "orientation" and "acts". While homosexual acts are considered sinful, the …More
Pope Paul VI's leadership and through the Second Vatican Council, affirmed that Orthodox sacraments are valid because they possess valid apostolic succession . This is because the Orthodox churches have preserved the unbroken line of episcopal succession, which is seen as the indispensable foundation for the priesthood and the valid celebration of the sacraments, particularly the Eucharist. Something to think about...........Who are the ones pushing for this World Wide Fag Agenda One Church?
Book of Daniel 1,1-6.8-20. In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came and laid siege to Jerusalem. The Lord handed over to him Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and some of the vessels of the temple of God, which he carried off to the land of Shinar, and placed in the temple treasury of his god. The king told Ashpenaz, his chief chamberlain, to bring in some of the Israelites of royal blood and of the nobility, young men without any defect, handsome, intelligent and wise, quick to learn, and prudent in judgment, such as could take their place in the king's palace; they were to be taught the language and literature of the Chaldeans; after three years' training they were to enter the king's service. The king allotted them a daily portion of food and wine from the royal table. Among these were men of Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. But Daniel was resolved not to defile himself with the king's food or wine; so he begged the chief …More

NOVEMBER 24 2025 THE GOSPEL breski1 Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 21,1-4. When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins. He said, "I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood."
[Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort – XVII-XVIII Century AD; Montfort-sur-Meu, France/Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre, France; Total consecration to Jesus through Mary] “Introduction 1. Here is a secret, chosen soul, which the most High God taught me and which I have not found in any book, ancient or modern. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, I am confiding it to you, with these conditions: a) That you share it only with people who deserve to know it because they are prayerful, give alms to the poor, do penance, suffer persecution, are unworldly, and work seriously for the salvation of souls. b) That you use this secret to become holy and worthy of heaven, for the more you make use of it the more benefit you will derive from it. Under no circumstances must you let this secret make you idle and inactive. It would then become harmful and lead to your ruin. c) That you thank God every day of your life for the grace he has given you in letting you into a secret that you do not deserve to know. As …More

In 1717 in England, a bunch of protestants got together and said, we can't destroy them (Catholics) from in outside, so we will destroy them from inside. And we will do it with their Mass. What did they do? They turned masonic and called on lucifer to help them in their mission of destroying THE ONE TRUE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH!!! There's one major problem with that though. Our Lord promised, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Oh! Well for them. And GOD'S Will shall be done!
Pope Leo XIV has issued a new Apostolic Letter titled In unitate fidei (“In the Unity of Faith”), calling Christians to renewed "dialogue" and "unity". Released on Sunday to mark the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, the document contains the usual word salad about "shared foundations" of the Christian faith. Next Friday, Leo XIV and the controversial Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew will visit Nicaea, near today’s Iznik in Turkey. Credo in pluralitatem Ecclesiarum In the new letter, Leo XIV writes that Christian unity is not about “returning” to the past, but about “an ecumenism that looks to the future, that seeks reconciliation through dialogue.” He even speaks - contrary to the Faith in the ONE Church founded by Christ - of a “current status quo of the diversity of Churches and ecclesial communities.” Leo XIV continues: “We must therefore leave behind theological controversies that have lost their raison d’être in order to develop a common understanding and, even …More
en-denzingerbergoglio.com/who-judges- … Proof of the filioque: The Son proceeds from the Father as His Word, and the Holy Ghost as Love: love must proceed from a word, for we do not love anything unless we apprehend it by a mental conception Now there cannot be in God any relations opposed to each other, except relations of origin, as proved above (q.28, a.44). And opposite relations of origin are to be understood as of a ‘principle’ and of what is ‘from the principle.’ Therefore we must conclude that it is necessary to say that either the Son is from the Holy Ghost; which no one says; or that the Holy Ghost is from the Son, as we confess. Furthermore, the order of the procession of each one agrees with this conclusion. For it was said above (a.27, a.2,4; q.28, a.4), that the Son proceeds by the way of the intellect as Word, and the Holy Ghost by way of the will as Love. Now love must proceed from a word. For we do not love anything unless we apprehend it by a mental conception. …More
Fico lashed out at Kiev’s supporters in the EU, arguing that it was the “zero” foreign policy of the bloc that brought Ukraine to its current position. “Who among those war hawks will acknowledge it in the EU, when they supported the war so much? When were they sending those weapons there so relentlessly? When were they forbidding any truce? Who today will admit their mistakes?” Fico added. While the plans to destroy Russia have evidently failed, Moscow is bound to emerge victorious from the hostilities, he declared.

Leo XIV believes that resistance to the 'synodal process' stems from fear or ignorance, the Synod's Undersecretary, Sr Nathalie Becquart, told Katholisch.de on 19 November. "Most resistance and fears come from people who view synodality from the outside. When they have the opportunity to experience it and see its fruits, they change", she claimed. According to Sr Becquart, Leo XIV made it very clear that the Church is not looking for a uniform model: "Synodality will not consist of a model where everyone and every country says: This is how it must be done." Sr Becquart knows that Leo XIV wants to respect what she calls "local reality": "There are many ways of being Church, and no single model of ecclesial life should be imposed." The Pope wants "openness to the new" and "expressly demanded that the different regions not all move at the same pace and sometimes be patient with one another" [in a time when the whole world has become a village]. For Sr Becquart, the example of the permanent …More
