No Date Yet to Move into the Apostolic Palace - Leo XIV

When leaving Castel Gandolfo yesterday, Pope Leo XIV was asked by journalists why, unlike his predecessors, he had not prayed inside the Blue Mosque in Istanbul on 29 November.
"Who said I didn't pray?" Leo XIV replied. “They said I didn’t, but I already explained on the plane – I mentioned a book – and perhaps I am praying even now.” The book in question was 'The Practice of the Presence of God' by Brother Lawrence.
Leo XIV added that it is a matter of style and place of prayer, and that his favorite place to pray is a Catholic church in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
He called it "curious" that this moment had attracted so much attention.
When asked when he will move into the Apostolic Palace, Pope Leo XIV said: "There is no date yet. I am comfortable where I am, in the Holy Office."
Regarding US President Donald Trump, Pope Leo XIV believes that he is trying to break the "alliance" between the United States and Europe. He said: "The recent remarks made in interviews about …More

Leo XIV on his visit to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul: "But who said I didn't pray?
People claimed I didn't pray, but I had already responded to that on the plane: I mentioned a book and said that it may well be that you are praying even at this moment, do you understand?
The nature of prayer depends on the moment and the place. Personally, I prefer to pray in a Catholic church, before the Blessed Sacrament; but if this moment caused such a stir, it seems a little strange to me."

The Hong Kong Court of Appeals heard the appeal of 93-year-old Cardinal Joseph Zen and four other members of the now-defunct 612 Humanitarian Fund, who were convicted in 2022 for failing to formally register the fund as a society, as required by local law. The verdict will be announced within the next nine months.
The 612 Fund, created in 2019 to provide assistance to pro-democracy protesters, was shut down in 2021. The defendants—including lawyer Margaret Ng, singer Denise Ho, former parliamentarian Cyd Ho, and academic Hui Po-keung—were each fined HK$4,000.
Although the case is not being tried under the National Security Law imposed by Beijing in 2020, pro-democracy organizations argue that it has political undertones and seeks to punish pro-democracy activism and limit religious and civil liberties in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Court of Appeal has been hearing the appeal of Cardinal Joseph Zen (93, retired Catholic bishop of Hong Kong) and four other trustees of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund: barrister Margaret Ng, academic Hui Po-keung, former lawmaker Cyd Ho, and singer-activist Denise Ho.
They were convicted in November 2022 of failing to register the 612 Fund as a “society” under Hong Kong’s Societies Ordinance and each fined HK$4,000; the fund’s secretary, Sze Shing-wai, was fined HK$2,500 and is not part of the appeal.

4th December 2025 – (Hong Kong) The Court of Appeal continued hearing the case on 4th December involving trustees of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund, who are appealing convictions for failing to register a society under the Societies Ordinance. Prosecutors maintained that the fund constituted a society within the meaning of the law, noting it solicited public donations and directed funds to political activities. The bench reserved judgment, indicating a written decision will be handed down within nine months.
Five appellants — retired Catholic cardinal Joseph Zen Ze-kiun, barrister Margaret Ng, academic Hui Po-keung, former lawmaker Cyd Ho and singer Denise Ho — were each earlier found guilty of not applying within the prescribed time to register, or to obtain an exemption from registration, for a local society between 16 July 2019 and 31 October 2021. All five served as trustees of the 612 Humanitarian Relief Fund and were fined HK$4,000 apiece following …

Christians have been sentenced to annihilation, because even Protestants, who greatly contributed to the destruction of the Catholic Church, know some fragment of the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ. And the system wants complete destruction and erasure of this teaching from memory. This teaching is the key to the Truth, and therefore to the inner temple, to the spiritual world where you become an uncontrolled, independent, peaceful soul waiting for the fall — which will certainly come, like every fall of an empire built on human ideologies. And it does not matter whether in human eyes these ideologies are good or bad. The fall is inevitable. People always eventually build the tower of Babel, even though they begin with a beautiful cathedral.

The Fall of the External Temple

Jeremiah:
“Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.”
Just as God is unchanging, so His words and His actions are unchanging. Yet the majority, including the so-called tradition, cries out: “We have the Promises.” Strange that people so well-read in theological books do not notice the recurring situations that preceded the destruction of every temple. After all, the times of Jeremiah are an exact description of what is happening now. Strange — or perhaps not — because these same people did not notice the persecutions of Christians all over the world, yet at the command of the system they rushed to defend Palestine. Why? Because the system wants Christians to die in silence.
The veil has fallen.
If God is unchanging, His justice must also be unchanging, and therefore for the same deeds there must be the same punishment. Logical, but very dangerous for the system, especially since it shows how strong our soul …

Saint Gregory III | The Pope Who Defended Holy Images | Catechism for Kids
Pope Saint Gregory III (d. 741) was the 90th Pope of the Catholic Church and one of the most courageous defenders of sacred images in Church history. Born in Syria, he was elected Pope by popular acclamation during the funeral of Pope Gregory II — a sign of how beloved and respected he already was in Rome. His papacy is best remembered for his strong stand against iconoclasm, the destruction of holy images forced upon Christians by Byzantine Emperor Leo III. In 731, Gregory III convened a synod in Rome that formally condemned iconoclasm and defended the veneration of sacred images — a teaching that remains central to Catholic tradition today. He worked tirelessly to strengthen Rome, improve monastic life, and support missionaries such as Saint Boniface, helping spread Christianity throughout Germany. He also sought protection from the Franks against the Lombards, laying early foundations for the future alliance …More

Women Wearing Fantasy-Stoles Act Already As If Ordained - Swiss Bishop

Swiss Auxiliary Bishop Marian Eleganti has criticised the Vatican study commission that has examined the impossibility of a female diaconate.
In a post on his personal blog on 8 December, he argued that it was difficult to understand why the commission was unable to reach a definitive conclusion.
According to Eleganti, "it is all too obvious that, despite the historical evidence, the goal is to keep the pot simmering — to keep the question open."
He notes that church feminists already wear "fantasy stoles".
He recalls that previous study commissions have repeatedly re-examined the historical record, only to arrive at the same results that have been known for decades. "Is it tragedy or comedy?" he asks. The bishop adds that the ancient deaconesses "were different from the deacons of their time and were shaped by cultural circumstances".
Contradicting Sister Linda Pocher, who is presented publicly as a papal advisor, Eleganti insists that the Church's rejection of a sacramental female …More

Last time? I hope so.
Western commentators have claimed for years that Putin is driven by nostalgia for the USSR, citing his remarks that its collapse was the “greatest geopolitical disaster” of the 20th century. The Russian leader has said on many occasions that he was disturbed when ethnic Russians found themselves divided by national borders, among other negative consequences of the dissolution. However, people vying for a Soviet revival “have no head,” he has said.
Yes! Many occasions he has said that. I heard it many times myself.

Putin doesn’t want to restore Soviet Union – Kremlin

The Russian president believes it is impossible to revive the communist superpower, according to his spokesman
Russian President Vladimir Putin has no desire to restore the Soviet Union, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
Putin has personally said so on many occasions, Peskov noted, and reiterated the president’s view in response to claims about Russian ambitions made by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in a recent interview with ARD.
Contemplating the revival of the USSR “would be disrespectful to our partners and allies in the Commonwealth of Independent States and other more advanced integrational forms,” Peskov said, referring to an intergovernmental group of post-Soviet nations.
The Russian official also described as “absolute nonsense” Merz’s claim that Moscow is preparing for an attack on NATO. Politicians from European members of the US-led military bloc have been using the claim to justify the EU’s multibillion-euro rearmament plans. Russian officials argue …

Clearly anyone can see the revival of the USSR as a fruit of Russia's aggression against the Ukraine. They have switched to a war economy and are strengthening relations with the brutal communist regimes such as Red China and North Korea. If this isn't for a planned assault on the Christian West then what is it for? You know your enemies by their bed fellows!
