Then, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." is based upon a 'false paradigm' making the One who said it, as C S Lewis noted, mentally imbalanced, a liar, or exactly what He said it was. If any one of these is true, you, sir, are no 'cardinal'.

Thomas Massie identifies two reasons why Trump “flipped” on the Epstein files. 1.) “He doesn’t want to embarrass his rich and powerful friends who’ve donated to him or go to his dinner parties. And they may, in fact, not even be guilty of a crime. They may just be very embarrassed that they were having extramarital sex with these women, for instance.” 2.) “But I think there’s also the intelligence aspect of this that goes even deeper. “Maybe Trump is on one plane and he’s thinking, ‘I can’t embarrass my friends.’ But there may be people in the administration who are career people who are thinking on another plane, like, ‘Well, let’s convince Trump he’s going to embarrass his friends, when in reality, what we’re trying to do is protect our sources and methods,’ which may involve sex trafficking. “And we don’t want to embarrass our partner Israel, at this time when the popularity for …More

The Litany of the Saints is a very ancient Christian prayer in which the Church militant calls upon the Church triumphant for help for themselves and the Church suffering. This prayer is of particular use as our fathers enduring all forms of suffering to bring to us the saving faith we now enjoy. Traditionally this prayer is prayed during a penitential procession on the Greater Rogation Day (April 25) as well as the Lesser Rogation Days (the Monday through Wednesday before Ascension Thursday). This ancient practice has been suppressed in the modern reform and the Litany of Saints, to my knowledge, is only prayed at the Easter Vigil and at an Ordination. Unfortunately, like the other prayers of the Holy Mass, much of this prayer was further edited in the modern reform. For example the petition “against the enemies of Holy Church” is specifically mentioned by Pope St. Paul VI's translation document Comme le prevoit 24 as being “contrary to Modern Christian ideas.” Thus it was removed …More
Life after life... Sunday, November 2nd Commemoration of All Souls Saint Padre Pio used to say that the graces he asked of God came first through the intercession of the holy souls in Purgatory, rather than through the intercession of the saints. Yes, dear brothers and sisters, what an amazing mystery we live in, what a beautiful thing it is to be part of the Holy Catholic Church, the Mystical Body of Christ, the New People of God who live in three dimensions: the earthly one, which is us still pilgrims on earth; the heavenly one, which is our brothers and sisters who are already in Heaven; and the purgatory one, which is our brothers and sisters who died in God's grace, but not yet completely purified and who eagerly await in Holy Purgatory the moment of their definitive entry into Heaven. They can do nothing for themselves, but they can do much for us by interceding with God. We can help them by having Holy Mass celebrated for them, through prayer, and through corporal and spiritual …More
Vice President JD Vance calls out Christian skeptics, asserts that Christian values are foundational to the United States. "The fruits of the Christian faith are the most moral, the most just." "I make no apologies for believing that Christianity is the pathway to God. I make no apologies for thinking Christian values are an important foundation of this country."
Well not sure what to make of it all. But the last part is surely what we need to do. Unfortunately, I believe too many people are still asleep or living in la la land. I know quite a few myself like that. Looks good when reading it or listening to it. But the problem is how do we wake the rest up and how do we get together to fight it. They keep saying we need to work together. No one shows or tells us how. Some talk about doing it. But noticed no one actually is doing anything about it?
Ws 3:1-6.9 "The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God." All souls are in God's hand. God, who creates souls, cannot destroy souls. God, who gives life, cannot destroy life. We are in God. 1 Co 15:51-57 "Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." ... the victory of life... which continues... John 6:37-40 Jesus said to them, "Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to me." Let us think about this. God has given life to every person. God is in every person, since it is impossible to give life without being there himself. Let us observe this. "Jesus says to them," in the plural form, and not just to one person in particular. God is present with humanity throughout its existence, He is present with us now, and He will still be there when we enter the gates of His kingdom. It is better to welcome God now, and he welcomes us. We then live more freely, in His peace and joy. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand …More
