danmaynes January 30, 2009 In your study of religions you can find a date, a person and a theology that they started. Catholicism didnt start with a person, it began with the Son of God, the Messiah, Jesus Christ and that is the only form of Christianity that can make that claim. We also make the verifiable claim to be Apostolic, each Catholic priest can trace their ordination back not only to the apostles but to the one who ordained the apostles, Jesus Christ. The attached video will go back to the beginning and move forward to miracles, the resurrection, historically proven appearances to people. We will see what the Jewish historian Josephus has to say about Jesus. Gods revelation developed over time so that He could tell about His words and His deeds. Where do we look for this information, where can we find Gods words, where can we find historically proven events that are only attributed to the creator of the universe? The Bible.
