My anthem through the years has been "When I survey the wondrous cross". I have only to think of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary to be amazed at the magnificent love of Jesus for a sinner such as myself and for all sinners. I'm likewise reminded that at the very heart of the cross, there is a heart of love for all creation. A great preacher was once asked if he had any regrets in his long life. He replied, "Just one, I did not preach more on the Cross of Calvary".
