Acts of the Apostles 7,51-60.8,1a. Stephen said to the people, the elders, and the scribes: "You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always oppose the Holy Spirit; you are just like your ancestors. Which of the prophets did your ancestors not persecute? They put to death those who foretold the coming of the righteous one, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become. You received the law as transmitted by angels, but you did not observe it." When they heard this, they were infuriated, and they ground their teeth at him. But he, filled with the holy Spirit, looked up intently to heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God." But they cried out in a loud voice, covered their ears, and rushed upon him together. They threw him out of the city, and began to stone him. The witnesses laid down their cloaks at the feet of a young man named …More
Apostelgeschichte 7,51-60.8,1a.
The church Saint-Nicaise de Rouen in Rouen, France, will become a brasserie-restaurant with an additional museum space. The site dates back to the 7th century, when a chapel was built for the relics of Saint Nicaise. The current building was reconstructed in reinforced concrete after a fire in 1934 and reopened for worship in 1940. Due to structural deterioration, water infiltration, and lack of maintenance, the church was closed in 2006 and officially deconsecrated in 2017. The new project includes a restaurant, on-site beer production, and preservation of some architectural elements. The church’s large organ, completed in 1957 and one of the most important in Rouen, has been removed and will be relocated to another church in Paris for restoration. Local authorities cited high restoration costs as the main reason for the conversion. #newsRxmfreixrh
Jesus is very clear in John 6 International Eucharistic Congress | IEC 2024 | … Mother Angelica Live Classics Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 6,30-35. The crowd said to Jesus: "What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you? What can you do? Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written: 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.'" So Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." So they said to him, "Sir, give us this bread always." Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst."
Spanish Serial Killer Moved to Women’s Prison After "Gender Transition": Spanish serial killer Joan Vila Dilmé, known as the “Angel of Death,” has been transferred to a women’s prison after identifying as a "woman" under the name “Aida.” Vila, now 60, was sentenced in 2014 to 127 years in prison for the murder of 11 patients at a care home in Olot between 2009 and 2010. The killings involved lethal overdoses of insulin or psychotropic drugs, while some victims were forced to ingest corrosive substances. Most victims were elderly and vulnerable residents under his care. Vila has been serving his sentence at Puig de les Basses prison since 2010.
He needed a one-day sentence before his execution. But oh, heavens, "Pope" Francis says that we all have infinite dignity and executing a monster is so wrong.
"Eternal Wisdom.--It is as impossible as to compress the heavens together and enclose them in a nut shell. Such persons array themselves in fair words, they build upon the wind, and construct upon the rainbow. How may the eternal abide with the temporal, when even one temporal thing neither can nor will endure another? He but deceives himself who thinks he can lodge the King of kings in a common inn, or thrust Him into the mean dwelling of a servant. In entire seclusion from all creatures must he keep himself who is desirous of receiving his guest as he ought.”
[Blessed Henry Suso; XIII-XIV Century AD; Uberlingen, Holy Roman Empire/Ulm, Holy Roman Empire; (aged 70); Religious, Priest; Mystic; German Dominican Friar] “ Chapter VI ~ How Deceitful the Love of This World is, And How Amiable God Is The Servant.--Sweetest God, if I leave Thee but a little I am like a young roe which has strayed from its dam, and is pursued by the hunter, and runs wildly about, until it escapes back to its cover. Lord, I flee, I run to Thee with ardent desire, like a stag to the living waters. Lord, one little hour without Thee is a whole year; to be estranged one day from Thee is as much as a thousand years to a loving heart. Therefore, Thou branch of salvation, Thou bush of May, Thou red blooming rose-tree, open and spread out the green branches of Thy divine nature. Lord, Thy countenance is so full of graciousness, Thy mouth so full of living words, Thy whole carriage such a pure mirror of all discipline and meekness! O Thou aspect of graciousness to all the saints …More
Yesenia's journey from a shock breast cancer diagnosis to finding a "miracle" at the Basilica of the Little Flower. Yesenia describes the moment her world changed in August 2024 and the unexpected peace that followed when her doctor led her in prayer. She opens up about the difficult conversations with her daughter and parents, the unique camaraderie found in the chemo clinic, and the "roses" she received from St. Thérèse of Lisieux along the way. Yesenia also shares a vital message about the importance of self-examination and early detection, proving that even when a mammogram is clear, listening to your body can save your life. Whether you are currently fighting a health battle or supporting someone who is, Yesenia’s story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the comfort of the Catholic faith. Key Highlights: -The Prayerful Physician: How a doctor’s faith put a patient's heart at ease from day one. -The "Chemo Clinic" Community: The spiritual and emotional bonds …More

A new chapel of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X was blessed on Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Tarnów. Poland, by Fr. Hubert Kuszpa. Continued growth of the faithful led to a second Sunday Mass and ultimately the need for a larger place of worship.
[Saint Teresa of Avila XVI Century AD; Avila, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy/Alba de Tormes, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy; Aged 67; Virgin; Doctor of the Church; Mystic; Writer; Reformer] “Chapter II ~ DESCRIBES THE HIDEOUS APPEARANCE OF A SOUL IN MORTAL SIN AS REVEALED BY GOD TO SOME ONE: OFFERS A FEW REMARKS ON SELFKNOWLEDGE: THIS CHAPTER IS USEFUL AS IT CONTAINS SOME POINTS REQUIRING ATTENTION. AN EXPLANATION OF THE MANSIONS. 1. BEFORE going farther, I wish you to consider the state to which mortal sin brings this magnificent and beautiful castle, this pearl of the East, this tree of life, planted beside the living waters of life which symbolize God Himself. No night can be so dark, no gloom nor blackness can compare to its obscurity. Suffice it to say that the sun in the centre of the soul, which gave it such splendour and beauty, is totally eclipsed, though the spirit is as fitted to enjoy God’s presence as is the crystal to reflect the sun. 2. While the soul is in mortal …More
"2. While the soul is in mortal sin nothing can profit it; none of its good works merit an eternal reward, since they do not proceed from God as their first principle, and by Him alone is our virtue real virtue. The soul separated from Him is no longer pleasing in His eyes, because by committing a mortal sin, instead of seeking to please God, it prefers to gratify the devil, the prince of darkness, and so comes to share his blackness. I knew a person to whom our Lord revealed the result of a mortal sin and who said she thought no one who realized its effects could ever commit it, but would suffer unimaginable torments to avoid it."
"3. In a state of grace the soul is like a well of limpid water, from which flow only streams of clearest crystal. Its works are pleasing both to God and man, rising from the River of Life, beside which it is rooted like a tree. Otherwise it would produce neither leaves nor fruit, for the waters of grace nourish it, keep it from withering from drought, and cause it to bring forth good fruit. But the soul by sinning withdraws from this stream of life, and growing beside a black and fetid pool, can produce nothing but disgusting and unwholesome fruit."
The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land strongly condemned the desecration of an image of the crucified Jesus in a Lebanese village, calling it a grave offense against the Christian faith and noting similar incidents in the region. They called for immediate disciplinary action, accountability, and firm assurances that such acts will not be repeated, while renewing their appeal to end the war.

The recent death of Paul Ehrlich (1932–2026), that master of anti-natalist propaganda, should cause us to consider the far-reaching consequences of his doctrine. As the author of The Population Bomb, (Note: all page references given below refer to this work) written in 1968, Ehrlich helped shape the disastrous demographic policies which many countries around the world are currently scrambling to reverse. by Kathy Clubb Among his predictions was the frightening spectre of overpopulation and world-wide famine to be experienced in the 1970s. By tying food availability to increasing population, Ehrlich successfully sowed enough fear into the academics of his day to ensure that his message would be taken up and disseminated into the unsuspecting community at large. Contraception Central to Ehrlich’s policies for population control was contraception; this was to be subsidised by the government and especially was to be made available to the poor. He lauded the U.S. government’s multi-million …
