Bishop Johnston is my Bishop...but we are having a hard time getting a Latin mass here. My family has to go two hours away for a Latin mass.

The bishop correctly says numerous times what a treasure the Latin is then quickly says we're not "going back" to saying the Mass in Latin. If it's a treasure, why would we mothball it?
Speak for yourself, Excellency. Personally, I'm never going back to assisting at a Mass in the vernacular.
I wonder how many TLM's there are in his diocese.More

"we are not going back to saying the Mass in Latin", saith the goodly Bishop. According to Cardinal Lavada, this is quite the direction of the 'new liturgical movement' begun from Rome by the Holy Father. Yet again, we have upper level clerics in the Church teach different things..... 
TES, Yes, I believe you can send messages to this bishop and ask him questions..
