I am a fervent Catholic and fully understand and agree with you and the Church teachings - THANKS!

I like the song because it makes you realize how Mary had to do her journey of faith like each one of us.

I admit that I don't know what the author of this song had in mind when he/she wrote that verse but although Mary didn't need to be delivered from sin and be made new, she, altogether needed to be delivered from what we all experience as a result of sin (like ex. suffering).

Pretty song - BUT it does deny the Immaculate Conception of Mary:
"Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that youve delivered
Will soon deliver you"

Mary may not have known all BUT she sure was delivered at her conception and had no need of being made new after it due to her cooperation with Divine Grace!
