Impressive indeed! This Abbey is one of the major sources for the Solesmes renewal of the the Latin Plain-Song in the nineteeth century. From 1930 to the present, Solesmes has used the St Gall MSS to print the Graduale Roman and the Gradulale Romanum Triplex. The Abbey of St Gall is a precious source of Chant MSS (others were Leon, and Eisenach).
