The unusual sighting was discovered by Eric Lewis, a Standard Two teacher at the school, at about midmorning yesterday just minutes after he taught students about the importance of the Holy Eucharist.

Since the discovery, scores of residents as well as Minister in the Education Ministry Clifton De Coteau and parish priest Fr Jayasaleen Baskar have visited the school to see the wooden carving of a chalice and the Host, symbolic of the Holy Eucharist.

Two lines of a red-coloured liquid were seen dripping into a plastic container, strategically placed on the ground.
