While his pagan companions travel there for various reasons, the future saint's journey is a pilgrimage of faith. Here, as the group has broken from their travel and set up camp for the night, Nicholas finds himself being... asked by the inquisitive merchant, Solomon (Richard Satterwhite), to share his knowledge of Jesus of Nazareth. After having been dismissive of Nicholas until now, the mysterious woman, Johanna (Jamie Elvey), starts to see there is something special about this reverent young man as he begins telling the story of the birth of Jesus, while in the very land in which it happened.
