This medieval church has some very interesting features, the most important of which are the relics of Saint Andrew. A flight of stone steps lead up to the main portico of the cathedral, which is decorated with bright tiles. The arches and much of the church's facade are inspired by Arabic architecture, giving it a unique appearance. Saint Andrew's Cathedral was built mostly in the 9th century, and contains elements leading up to 19th century.
