Obama to Compromise on Contentious Birth Control Issue
1OneMinuteNews on Feb 10, 2012 The Obama White House caused some controversy when it mandated that religious institutions like Catholic universities and hospitals would have to provide no-cost contraception services to its female employees. Newt Gingrich immediately called it an attack on religious freedom. Now the White House is compromising on the issue, saying the religious institutions themselves do not have to pay for it, but the insurance companies do.
