French archdiocese cancels DJ priest appearance at St. Joan of Arc Festival after backlash – Allah's Willing Executioners

The Archdiocese of Rouen cancelled a scheduled performance by a well-known Portuguese DJ priest at its Joan of Arc celebrations amid mounting criticism.
On April 30, organizers of the annual Joan of Arc festivities in Rouen, France,
confirmed that Father Guilherme Peixoto, a Portuguese Catholic priest known for electronic music performances, would no longer appear at the event on May 14 after a period of escalating criticism regarding the appropriateness of his participation.
Officially, the priest requested a postponement, but the decision occurred amid sustained objections to the program.
The announcement represents a reversal of earlier plans that had presented Peixoto as one of the principal attractions of the celebrations pretending to honor Saint Joan of Arc. His withdrawal was confirmed without detailed explanation from diocesan authorities, leaving the precise reasons formally unspecified.
To replace him, organizers have arranged for a French DJ known as Charles B to perform,…

The Dialogue of Saint Catherine of Siena
St. Catherine, one of the few remarkable women declared a Doctor of the Church, did not write this text with a pen and ink, but dictated it while in a state of ecstasy, recording a continuous, intimate dialogue with God the Father.

Al Gore Shifts On Global Warming: Time To Watch Out For A New Ice Age?
BY TYLER DURDEN
WEDNESDAY,
APR 29, 2026 - 08:10 PM
The rhetoric and predictions behind climate change "science" change so haphazardly, it's a sure sign that the entire field of study is fraudulent. If the manufactured hysteria is not enough to clue people in, the failed predictions of Al Gore should do the trick.
Former Vice President Al Gore warned a Hollywood audience this week that a "Gulf Stream collapse" could occur within 25 years, leading to an abrupt and devastating new Ice Age.
Mr. Gore, now 78, appeared at the inaugural Sustainability in Entertainment Honors event, co-hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and the Sustainable Entertainment Alliance at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. He participated in a keynote conversation with actor Bradley Whitford of “The West Wing,” timed to the 20th anniversary of “An Inconvenient Truth.”
Gore invoked the scenario depicted in the 2004 disaster film “The Day After Tomorrow …More

Pope Leo Appoints Three Anti-Trump Bishops Amid White House Feud

From Newsweek
Pope Leo XIV has appointed three new U.S. bishops who have expressed criticism of President Donald Trump's actions.
Washington auxiliary bishop Evelio Menjivar has been named as the new bishop for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston covering West Virginia, according to the Catholic Standard.
Father Gary Studniewski and Father Robert Boxie III have also been named as new auxiliary bishops for the Archdiocese of Washington.
Menjivar previously criticized the Trump administration's immigration policies, writing in the the National Catholic Reporter last April: "the federal government has pursued a 'shock and awe' campaign of aggressive threats and highly visible operations of questionable legality that go far beyond mere immigration 'enforcement.'"
Boxie previously expressed concern over Trump's efforts to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across the U.S.
"In a lot of ways we have made great progress, but in so many ways, I feel like we're regressing," Boxie …More

"2.6 MARY PROCLAIMED TO PIOUS PAGANS.
I saw also that by the great mercy of God it was announced to certain God-fearing heathens that the Messiah was to be born from a virgin in Judea. The ancestors of the three holy kings, the star-worshippers of Chaldea, received this message by the appearance of a picture in a star or in the sky, by which they made prophecies. I saw traces of these prophetic images of the Blessed Virgin in the pictures in their temple, which I have described in my account of Jesus’ visit to them after the raising of Lazarus in the last quarter of the third year of His ministry."

2.5 A REPRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN IN EGYPT.
In Egypt I saw the message of salvation being announced in the following manner.
I saw that by God’s command Elijah sent messages to summon devout families scattered about in three regions to the east, north, and south. For this purpose he sent forth three of the sons of the prophets, but only after asking a sign from God that he had decided rightly, for it was a difficult and dangerous mission, and he had to choose messengers whose prudence would lessen the danger of their being murdered. One traveled northwards, one eastwards, and the third southwards. This last one had to pass through a considerable part of Egyptian territory, where the Israelites were in particular danger of being killed …More

Padre Guilherme Replaced at Catholic Event After Criticism

Despite originally being announced as one of the event’s featured attractions, Portuguese priest and DJ Guilherme Peixoto will no longer perform at the opening-night concert of Rouen’s 2026 Jeanne d’Arc celebrations on 14 May.
The Archdiocese of Rouen, France, said that Padre Guilherme had requested to postpone his appearance. This followed public criticism of his inclusion in the festival programme. Critics questioned the appropriateness of a priest performing electronic music during celebrations dedicated to Joan of Arc.
He will be replaced by French DJ Charles B, who will be accompanied by a local opening act. Unlike Padre Guilherme, the replacement performers are not clergy and their performance is not framed by religion.

Leo XIV Appoints Bishop Who Assisted During Strickland’s Removal

Today, Leo XIV has appointed Monsignor John Gomez as Bishop of Diocese of Laredo, USA.
Born in Colombia in 1975, Monsignor Gomez is a priest of the Diocese of Tyler, a canon lawyer trained at the Gregorian in Rome.
He has little discernible public media footprint: no notable interviews, personal social-media presence, podcasts, or published ideological essays appear readily available online.
Bishop Joseph Strickland appointed him in 2015 as vicar general of Tyler, Texas.
The interesting wrinkle is that Monsignor Gomez remained after Bishop Strickland was removed: He served as delegate of the apostolic administrator from 2023–2025, then vicar general again under Bishop Gregory Kelly from 2025.
CatholicVote reported in June 2023 that Monsignor Gomez helped organize meetings between the Vatican visitators and diocesan clergy, religious, and laity during the Apostolic Visitation.
The Apostolic Visitation was requested by the new prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, then-Archbishop Robert …More

And what about McElroy's new auxiliary bishops? One appears to be a pro-LGBT ex-military man. And the bishop of Wheeling-Charleston, an undocumented immigrant bishop, a supporter of criminal immigrants, and an enemy of the Traditional Latin Mass. What a bunch of scum; they'll all go to Hell like the pieces of shit they are.

The posessed act this way, this is not a case of just a man being "mental", this is posession, look how a man passes by and did nothing to protect her so the attacker did nothingto him... BUT a samaritan rushed and the posessed attacked him once he tries to protect her.

The lesson here is, despite the hate, we should Love, despite the anger, you should give your other cheek, despite the impotence you should continue carry your cross, there will be a time for action, as this didn’t happen in front of us, but if it did, you should be samaritans and not pharisees. Bring flow'rs of the rarest
Bring flow'rs of the rarest, bring flow'rs of the fairest,
From garden and woodland, and hillside and vale;
Our full hearts are swelling, our glad voices telling
The praise of the loveliest Rose of the dale.
Chorus:
O Mary! we crown thee with blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May,
O Mary, we crown thee with blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May.
2 Our voices ascending, in harmony blending,
Oh! thus may our hearts turn, dear Mother, to thee;
Oh! thus shall we prove thee how truly we love thee,
How dark, without Mary, life's journey would be. [Chorus]
3 O Virgin most tender, our homage we render,
Thy love and protection, sweet Mother, to win;
In danger defend us, in sorrow befriend us,
And shield our fond hearts from contagion of sin. [Chorus]

When life with temptation is darkly replete?
Forsake us, oh never! our hearts, be they ever
As pure as the lilies we lay at thy feet. […

40 points on the upcoming SSPX consecrations. Worth reading!

Forty Theses on the SSPX

The news as of late has simply been dominated by the spectre of the impending SSPX consecrations in July. I have hitherto avoided any discussion of the matter, as I don't follow SSPX news nor do I have any history with the Society, for good or ill. I came to Tradition apart from them and have never found them to be an integral part of my own spiritual journey. And I certainly do not view them as an escape hatch in case things get bad enough, nor do I see them as standard-bearers of the Trad movement, so I don't feel that invested in whatever happens in July.
Nevertheless, I do realize this is important for many and several people have asked my opinion, so I thought it might be wise to get my thoughts out—although, I should warn you, this is far from systematic, which has compelled me to present my thoughts rather as a miscellany of theses rather than a single comprehensive "argument" (so as you read, keep in mind I am making no single argument, but rather throwing out discussion points). …

To put the controversy in perspective, it is helpful to review the thinking of Rome just a few years back:
“I am of the opinion, to be sure, that the old rite should be granted much more generously to all those who desire it. It’s impossible to see what could be dangerous or unacceptable about that. A community [i.e. Rome] is calling its very being into question when it suddenly declares that what until now was its holiest and highest possession is strictly forbidden and when it makes the longing for it seem downright indecent.” (Ratzinger Salt of the Earth (1997)
If these are the thoughts of the Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (future Pope Benedict XVI) it is not possible to hold that the SSPX is schismatic for holding the same beliefs and striving to preserve "the holiest and highest possession".
The author states up-front, that his only interaction with the SSPX are acquaintances and students. The treatment of the controversy would be more balanced after …More
