I have read the Qu'ran and could make little if any sense of the text having found just a marginal hint of rationality in a book that is universally considered to be holy by Muslims worldwide.

Sounds like Hell on earth. Who ever put this together really knows how Muslims are! Its sad to see countries that were strongholds of the Christian faith becoming Muslim such as France.
