Hymn tune name is Ebenezer in English or Ton-Y-Botel in original Welsh.
Hymn tune is quite old, and appears in the Anglican 1933 Hymnal.
Text is by James Russell Lowell (1819-1891) a New England abolitionist, academic, poet and diplomat. He was the son of an Unitarian minister, born and died at Cambridge in Massachussetts.

I remembered where the clip was from: is it from the Movie: Quo Vadis. But not the 1950s version. It is from 2002 Version filmed in Poland. I am told that this is the most expensive movie ever made in Poland and it lasts for over 4 hours. Careful, there is some nudity and the violence as you can see here is often quite graphic.
