BL. MARIA TERESA FASCE was born in Torriglia, Genoa, Italy on 27 December 1881. She entered the monastery of St Rita in Cascia in 1906. On Christmas Eve she was clothed in the Augustinian habit and the following year she made her vows. She became novice mistress in 1914 and vicar from 1917-20.
