Christoph Thomas Scheffler (1743) zeichnete die Deckenfresken, auf denen die Geschichte des Heiligen Paulinus und das Martyrium der Thebäischen Legion dargestellt sind. Dies ist ein kleiner Teil, der mir am besten gefallen hat.

Sehr schön! Die Fresken sind sehr beeindruckend. Ich hab in einem Buch sämtliche Nahaufnahmen. Die Martyriumsszenen sind besonders erschütternd.
