Are not two of the signs of the imminence of the end of the world the conversion of the Jewish peope and the preaching of the Gospel all over the Earth? I don't know how far the second sign has progressed but it does not look as if Jewish people in Israel are going to become Christian any time soon. If Saint Malachy was right, then there is not much time left for the first sign to be fulfilled, just about length of the prophesised pontificate of Peter the Roman.
