As you've said, the lamb is regarded as a gentle and dependent creature and we are, indeed, all dependent on Our Creator.

However, despite mixed reviews in scripture, it is the Lion that is known for his power and boldness both divine gifts.

So, if I had to choose between the lamb and the lion.....well.... I'd prefer the lion.
