just FYI a great book to reference regarding Purgatory is Purgatory: explained by the lives and legends of the saints by Fr. F.X. Schouppe, S.J. It is remarkable in explaining at great length what to expect and what will occur etc ALL based on what our great saints had to say about it. It describes purgatory time and time again as a place where purgation occurs by extreme cold or extreme heat. I was under the impression it was closer to hell than anything from what I have read.

do u happen to have a reference for Purgatory being apart of heaven, because scripture states nothing unclean shall enter into Heaven...... so it's seperate right?

Is it really appropriate to speak of it as between Heaven and Hell? Maybe between this world and Heaven or some kind of antechamber to Heaven perhaps. Does Purgatory really have any relationship to Hell at all?
