We continue posting daily Advent reflections by the Church Fathers. It's a good way to prepare to celebrate Christmas. The reflections and quotations come from the book titled, Advent and Christmas with the Church Fathersby Marco Pappalardo. Introduction Good and evil are not far removed from human experience: they are the light and darkness of everyday life. There is a human and material good that needs to be illuminated by the light of Christ to prevent it from becoming evil; there are adversities that can plunge us into the darkest of depths without the burning flame of faith. We can choose to follow the light of the star or to remain motionless, lamenting the darkness. St. Augustine, Thus it is night down here; but this night seems to have its light and its shadows. If we call it night in general, what is its light? The prosperity and happiness of this world, temporal joy, and temporal honours are the quasi-light of this night. But the adversity and bitterness of tribulations and …
12/12/2025 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. Many of us ask ourselves: How can it be that our world is heading straight for disaster? The concepts of the “deep state,” globalists, technocrats, or simply the “swamp” don’t explain why so many people on our planet are completely indifferent to the direction it’s hurtling in. They are merely the architects and executors of a plan to seize global domination during the inevitable financial crisis fueled by mounting debt. We are still in the dark when it comes to understanding this meticulously crafted plan to destroy human civilization as we know it—a plan that is unfolding before our very eyes. Muhammad is the most popular name given to newborns in England. Of course, they exploit the fear, complacency, and selfishness of most of us. Psychological phenomena play a major role in this. An article by Simone Hörrlein, a German living in Canada, published on manova.news on Wednesday, sheds some light on the mechanisms used to change the world …

Bishop Schneider promotes and celebrates the Mass in the Roman Rite, yet it is rarely celeberated in Kazakhstan, he told Adrian Milag in an online interview. Main points, video sequence below. - We have no altar girls in all Kazakhstan. It is banned. No women, no altar girls. - We have no Eucharistic ministers at all. - The only ordinary form to receive Holy Communion is kneeling and on the tongue, with the paten. There is no other possibility except for the sick. - Thanks be to God, our liturgies are very worthy… even in the Novus Ordo. - The people are pious and devoted. They don’t know the Latin Mass and some don’t even feel the necessity. If there would be a greater movement, it would be possible also. But until now we have not these considerable groups. - I celebrate in my private episcopal chapel the traditional Latin Mass and when I am teaching in the seminary, I also celebrate for the seminarians. - True ecumenism is that non-Catholics come back to the Church and embrace all …More
The way to interpret this is that Bishop Schneider believes that a reverent novus ordo is good enough for the faithful. Not good for his traditionalist credentials.
Bishop Schneider and Archbishop Vigano are among the few truly Catholic members of the hierarchy left in the Catholic Church. May Our Lady, Mediatrix of All Graces and Co-Redemptrix, continue to protect and keep them under Her Sacred Mantle.

The museum Künstlerhaus in Vienna, Austria, is presenting an exhibition titled “You Shall Make Yourself an Image.” It opened in late October 2025 and runs through 8 February 2026. The exhibition features about 40 provocateurs (“artists”) mocking Christian imagery. Catholic organizations and online petitions describe the exhibit as “blasphemous,” “insulting,” and as mocking key Christian symbols such as the crucifixion and imagery of the Virgin Mary. Works criticized include: - A wolf dressed in liturgical garments - A crucified frog - Portrayals of Mary as a trans woman or other provocative reinterpretations The Austrian right-wing party FPÖ (Austrian Freedom Party) condemned the exhibition as “a scandalous mockery of Christianity” and demanded that it be shut down, especially since it runs during Advent and Christmas and receives public funding. On Monday, a group of Catholics gathered outside the museum to protest the exhibition, including an act of penance prayer. However, …More
Jim Ferguson - WHEN THE TRUTH IS TOO DANGEROUS FOR THE POWERFUL—THIS IS WHAT HAPPE... WHEN THE TRUTH IS TOO DANGEROUS FOR THE POWERFUL—THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS Ex-CIA contractor Patrick Byrne has just made extraordinary allegations—claims so explosive that most media outlets will never touch them. In a discussion with Alex Jones, Byrne stated that senior intelligence channels are warning that Candace Owens is being targeted for retaliation after exposing powerful networks operating behind the political façade of Europe. Byrne insists that there is more beneath the surface—global agendas, elite protection systems, and institutional panic when scrutiny comes too close. Whether every detail proves true or not, one point from Byrne stands unchallenged: When someone questions narratives that protect power structures, they are instantly attacked—not on facts, but with intimidation, legal warfare, and coordinated smear campaigns. And why is this happening now? Because Owens openly challenged …More

Pope Leo XIV published today an Apostolic Letter on archaeology. Marking 100 years since the founding of the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology, he described the discipline as “indispensable for understanding Christianity”: “Revelation is always history. If this is so, then understanding Revelation requires an adequate knowledge of the historical, cultural and material contexts in which it took place,” he wrote. The Pontifical Institute, founded in 1925, is led by German priest Stefan Heid. He is world-famous for his research showing that the early Church celebrated Holy Mass ad orientem.
Pope to Pontifical Institute of Archaeology: “By concentrating on the physical traces of faith, archeology educates us in a theology of the senses: a theology that knows how to see, touch, smell and listen. Christian archeology is a school of the senses. By examining stones, ruins and other artifacts, it teaches us that nothing touched by faith is insignificant.
