The Archbishop of Canterbury Meets the Pope

Vatican

Dr Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, is due to visit Rome on November 20. The Vatican announced that the Pope would meet him the following day. Dr Williams is coming to Rome to take part in celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Cardinal Johannes Willebrands of the Netherlands, a pioneer of ecumenical dialogue, who died three years ago. The following meeting with the Pope is intended to reduce controversy over the Vatican’s recent move to make it easier for disenchanted Anglicans to convert to Roman Catholicism in groups, clericalwhispers.blogspot.com reports.

Anti-catholic Ruling of the European Court of Human Rights

Italy

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that Italian schools have allegedly violated the rights of their students and their parents by displaying crucifixes on classroom walls. The court ordered Italy to pay 5,000 Euros in "moral damages" to a mother who had complained about the presence of the crucifix in her children's classrooms. Father Federico Lombardi, the director of the Vatican press office, declined an opportunity to criticize the court's ruling. He said: "I believe reflection is needed before commenting."

Praying at the Tombs of His Predecessors

Vatican

At All Souls Day, Pope Benedict XVI prayed at the tombs of his predecessors. First he visited the tomb of Benedict XV. Then he went to the tomb of Pius XI who was pope when the present Pope was a child. Benedict also prayed before the tomb of Pius XII and visited then the tomb of Paul VI, who named him bishop and cardinal. At the tomb of John Paul I, the pope remembered participating in the conclave that elected John Paul and his funeral 33 days later. At last Pope Benedict XVI prayed at the tomb of John Paul II, the pope who brought him to Rome and with whom he worked closely for 24 years.

He Experienced a Massive Change of Heart

USA

A director of a the abortion-network Planned Parenthood affiliate in Texas has resigned after eight years with the organization. The reason: Watching an ultrasound of an abortion triggered a “massive” change of heart. "I just thought I can't do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that's it," said Abby Johnson, who resigned from Bryan Planned Parenthood on Oct. 6. Johnson now supports the Coalition For Life, the pro-life group with a building down the street from Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood sued Johnson and the Coalition for Life and filed restraining orders against both. They claim that Johnson and the Coalition for Life wanted to breach the confidentiality of their clients. Johnson denies such intentions.

A special thanks to Abby Johnson, the ex-director of the Bryan Texas Planned Parenthood office on 29th Street:

Abby Johnson now encourages thinking and loving individuals to place a special value on others who are (also humans made in the image of God) and in the same stage of development that "They were"!

The thoughts that dance in the mind of humans, is conceived in their heart and hinges on the pivotal question that ushers in the undeserved "Death penalty" for the unborn; or the joyous excitement, anticipating the soon coming birth of a child.

The question that answers the complex motive for a person's actions after conception is "Is the pregnancy and baby wanted or rejected by one or both parents (or families) of the child"?!!!

And if most women-with-child was loved by the child's father,
she would smile and happily say "No abortion" why bother.

Ask God and the person you mated with to forgive you,
forgive yourself and live the abundant life.

Sincerely,

Arthur Trafford
