Donald Trump took his bullheaded naiveté in foreign policy to a new level this month when he unveiled his 28 point “peace plan” which, as I covered last week, had all the earmarks that it was wholly or in part based on a Russian document, especially because it was completely one-sided in Russia’s favor such as rewarding Putin’s aggression by giving him all of Eastern Ukraine, removal of all sanctions, reintegration in the world economy and total amnesty for their war crimes and only gave Ukraine a week to accept it. Ukraine and the EU responded with a partial acceptance but modified the points to include greater security guarantees and rejecting all the issues that rewarded Putin as the aggressor. Trump allowed his “take it or leave it threat” to pass, and sat back as two more rounds of negotiation took place, one in Moscow with Putin, and one in Florida with Ukraine, but no solid movement took place because the Trump team was exclusively representing the Russian side. This week, …More
Second, normalize sexual pleasure as the central analogy for divine encounter. If the deepest human experience of unity is orgasm, then that becomes the template for mystical union. The body scan with “no part of the skin insensitive” is the formation of a particular way of inhabiting the body, where spiritual attention deliberately passes through explicitly erogenous zones.

Louis IX There are two kinds of Catholics. Those who are modernist and ignorant. And then the Catholics who think they know it all and quote only some parts of the Bible. But never ever mention.... Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called children of God. For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in: For I was hungry, and you gave me not to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me not to drink. Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee? Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it "not" to one of these least, neither did you do it to me. Why does Trump arrest mostly those who work the farms? Work in factories? DC says, they arrest thousands everyday. But only the workers. They say, they caught a bunch …More
Indeed, anyone who supports lawlessness by Catholics can be considered to be in a deplorable state. The next time I visit Spain I suppose I should refuse to leave, join a gang, get on benefits and complain when I should rightly be thrown out on my keister.

Sarah Mullally, the first woman appointed "Archbishop of Canterbury" of the Church of England, has been accused of mishandling an abuse case. She is due to take office on January 28. The allegation centers on her decision to send a confidential email about abuse claims directly to the accused priest, bypassing formal disciplinary procedures. The case involves a victim known as “Survivor N,” who filed a formal complaint in 2020 and reportedly received no response. Mullally has since acknowledged that "Survivor N" was not given adequate support by the Church.

On this episode of The John Henry Westen Show is Father Michael Mary Sim, the founder and superior of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer (Transalpine Redemptorists) religious congregation. We discussed the community’s recent letter denouncing the “Synodal Church,” their bishop’s attempt to expel them, and more. First we briefly discussed the history of the Transalpine Redemptorists, who were founded under the auspices of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre and the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), as well as their 2024 expulsion from their diocese in New Zealand. Then I asked Fr. Michael Mary about the congregation’s October open letter repudiating the “Synodal Church” and why they decided to write it now after suffering through Francis without making similar statements. The priest emphasized that what really led to that letter was Francis’ stunning remarks last year that “every religion is a way to arrive at God,” delivered to an ecumenical group of young people in Singapore. After that, the …More
Abonniert @satellit_de!
