Morning after pill allowed in some German Catholic hospitals
At this moment, the German Bishops are holding their spring plenary meeting. One of their topics of discussion is the administration of the morning-after pill to potential rape victims in Catholic hospitals. Many bishops have already introduced this drug in their hospitals.
The head of the Bishops’ Conference archbishop Zollitsch said that the bishops will allow the morning after pill in their hospitals as long as it is not abortive. But a non-abortive morning-after pill does not exist. Every morning-after pill available in Germany (and elsewhere) contains either levonogestrel or ulipristal acetate. Both of these substances not only prevent conception but also provoke, if necessary, an abortion.
Already in early February Cardinal Meisner of Cologne has allowed the administration of the killer-pill in Catholic hospitals of his archdiocese. And five more German bishops did the same. They are Mgr Heinrich Mussinghoff of Aachen, Mgr Franz-Josef Overbeck of Essen, Mgr Felix Genn of Münster, Mgr Hans-Josef Becker of Paderborn and Cardinal Karl Lehmann of Mainz.
The liberal media as well as the Socialist run Health Departments in Germany cheered these decisions. But in front of God, these bishops will be personally responsible for the children killed by the morning after pill in their allegedly Catholic hospitals. Rome, doing nothing about this situation, would “incur the wrath of Almighty God and the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul”.
