However, I know for a fact that every Dominican present here is an academic scholar or has an excellent working knowledge of Classical Latin. Therefore, the use of the English language for Vespers is quite unfortunate indeed! Just up the street at St Benet's Hall, at the Benedictine Halls of residence, Vespers is in Latin!
