Servant Song for Sisters of St Francis.
6:56 minute music and inspirational video. Original Hawaiian Mele / Chant followed by 4 part female choir in english. Lyrics are inspired from the writings of Mother Marianne Cope of Molokai, who is being considered for Sainthood by the Catholic Church. Pictures from reknown artist and photographer Kim Taylor Reece highlight the history of the sisters at the leper colony of Kalaupapa since the year 1883. Mother Marianne and the sisters have also been instrumental to my continuing recovery from severe heart failure.

Very nice Video! It begs a question though. If this Mass was in honor of Bl. Mother Marianne Cope and if we truly belive that she is a perfect model of Christian Faith, Christian Chariy and Christian Love why if she walked in she would find this Mass very alien? Even the sisters of her community she would not recognize. If we were to ask her how she would have wanted to be honored she would without second thought say love and serve the Lord! and Live and Breath the Mass. This in no way would have been a Mass she would ever attend. I too live in Hawaii and is a native to the Islands this if first hand evidence of the abuse we Catholics must endrure at the hands of Liturgical Directors they must stop and think. Really think. I know where to find a good luau show with all the trimmings, Hula ect.. Its sad that even at Mass they feel we should be entertained. A preformance is still a preformance!!! The question remains if we want to be like Blessed Mother Marianne Cope why become more different trying to get there???...
