Mon May 4, 2026 - 7:06 am EDTMon May 4, 2026 - 11:41 am EDT (LifeSiteNews) — Leo XIV has publicly rejected the teaching of the Catholic Church that capital punishment is legitimate under certain conditions. This teaching, having been proposed for our belief by the universal and ordinary magisterium, must be believed by all Catholics. The denial of this doctrine constitutes heresy. The implications of Leo XIV’s public profession of heresy deserve careful consideration. Leo XIV’s position on capital punishment On April 24, in a video address commemorating the 15th anniversary of the abolition of the death penalty in Illinois, Leo XIV said: The Church teaches that “the death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person.” The words within speech marks are from the text on capital punishment inserted into the Catechism of the Catholic Church in 2018 by Francis. Speaking to journalists in a plane interview on April 27, Leo XIV reiterated …

In his book Popes, Dollars, and War, Italian journalist Massimo Franco claims that Leo XIV was elected, in part, to help bring American donors and dollars back to the Vatican. Franco found an anonymous cardinal who said that "the combination of doctrine and dollars won". And: "The American bishops were tired of being criticised [under Francis] and decided to make themselves heard [...] The new incentive is money, first used against Francis and then in the conclave to elect Prevost." During the pre-conclave meetings, Japanese cardinal Tarcisio Kikuchi said: "Are politics involved in the Conclave? No, I don’t think so. But maybe money." Cardinal Reinhard Marx dedicated a full day of the pre-conclave discussion to the Holy See’s finances. Cardinal Müller responded back then, "Enough! We have to elect the successor of Peter, not Judas!" At a book presentation in Rome on 27 April, Cardinal Gerhard Müller rejected the hypothesis that money played a role in Leo XIV’s election with an outright …More
Diana PATRIOTS ARE UNITED @DianaT192 CHOLESTEROL WAS NEVER THE ENEMY. IT WAS THE RESCUE TEAM. For 60 years, you have been told that cholesterol clogs your arteries and causes heart attacks. You have been told to avoid eggs, butter, and red meat. You have been put on statin drugs that generate $29 billion per year in global sales. Every word of it was a lie built on one fraudulent study. In 1958, a physiologist named Ancel Keys published the Seven Countries Study. He claimed to prove that dietary fat and cholesterol caused heart disease. What he did not tell you is that he had data from 22 countries. He deliberately excluded the 15 countries that contradicted his theory. The countries with the highest fat consumption and the lowest heart disease were thrown out. He hand-picked the data to match his conclusion. And the entire Western medical system built its dietary guidelines on that fraud. Here is what cholesterol actually does. It is the raw material your body uses to produce every …More
This is accurate. A big factor in the epidemic of Alzheimer's. An early appreciation of this fraud in my career helped prepare me for the COVID fraud. Another capitalization scheme were created money is used to setup profit from fraud. Again, nothing to do with free markets.
May 5th - Saint of the Day: Saint Hilary of Arles, Bishop & Monk He had wealth, status, and a future most people would envy. Then Christ interrupted everything. Saint Hilary of Arles was a brilliant young man pulled between ambition and God. He admitted the struggle himself: “On one side… I saw the Lord calling me; on the other the world offering me its seducing charms and pleasures.” But grace won. Hilary gave up his wealth, became a monk, and was later dragged into becoming Bishop of Arles even though he wanted the hidden life of prayer. As bishop, he lived simply, walked on foot, preached with fire, cared for orphans, wept over sinners, and even sold church vessels to ransom captives. And here is the surprising part: he was corrected by Pope Saint Leo the Great after overstepping his authority. Instead of rebelling, Hilary stayed humble, obedient, and faithful to the Church. That is real holiness. Not ego. Not image. Not control. Just Christ winning the heart. …More
NOVENA PRAYER Day 1 Most Holy Virgin, who has deigned to come to Fátima to reveal to the three little shepherds the treasures of graces hidden in the recitation of the Rosary, inspire our hearts with sincere love of this devotion. By meditating on the mysteries of our redemption that are recalled in your Rosary, may we gather the fruits contained therein and obtain the conversion of sinners, the conversion of Russia, the Peace of Christ for the world, and this favor that I so earnestly seek of you in this novena.... (here mention your request) I ask this of you, for the greater glory of God, for your own honor and for the good of all people. Amen “Pray the rosary everyday!”
Staff Writer May 4, 2026 News Two years after the Archdiocese of Los Angeles reached an $880 million settlement with men and women who survived childhood sexual abuse at the hands of Roman Catholic priests and clergy in their diocese, the Catholic Archdiocese of New York is following suit, agreeing to pay more than $800 million to its own sexual abuse survivors. So far, the Catholic Church has paid out more than $5 billion in settlements, which has bankrupted at least 19 dioceses. The archdiocese has been planning this for a while. Along with selling off buildings and laying off staff, including the sale of their New York headquarters for $100 million, the Archdiocese is suing its insurance company, Chubb. The archdiocese claims that “even though we have paid them over $2 billion in premiums by today’s standards, [Chubb] is now attempting to evade their legal and moral contractual obligation to settle covered claims which would bring peace and healing to victim-survivors.” Chubb …
Awarding of doctoral degrees by Sorbonne Universities on May 14, 2011. CamilleStromboni, CC BY 2.0, via Wikimedia Commons It is no longer a secret that universities have become one of the arenas where some of today’s fiercest ideological battles are being fought: research and knowledge are being subjected to the dictates of wokeism, in defiance of academic freedom—a glorious European legacy dating back centuries. In France, the phenomenon has reached such proportions that lecturers are forced to organise themselves to fight against what sometimes takes the form of relentless harassment. In many French universities, a climate of intellectual terror prevails that is not—minus the physical elimination—unlike the “terrorism without the gulag,” to use the phrase of the Quebec intellectual Mathieu Bock-Côté during the heyday of the Soviet Union. Some professors and researchers, hounded for non-conformist views and for the content of their courses deemed controversial, find themselves …

Good News: UN officials have warned that the United Nations faces total financial collapse as a result of "non-payment of dues by member states". "We face a real danger of running out of money."
Agreed! Democrats ARE brainwashed... Any Catholic voting democrat at any moment in their lives, needs to repent of all the babies murdered by the abortion democrat machine they voted for. Anyone who is for abortion is an enemy of God.
