2th December 1990, Moscow - The members of the Lithuanian gouvernement received the letter of Prof. Plinio to the President Vytautas Landsbergis and see the microfilm of the monumental petition signed by five million people in favour of the independence of Lithuania. The delegation composed of eleven members of the different TFPs in trip from Moscow to Vilnius. On 11 March 1990, Lithuania became the first Soviet republic to declare independence.
