Hoy vamos a acudir al llamado canto glagolítico. Los croatas tenían el privilegio de usar el canto viejo eslavo cuando celebrasen su rito romano. Otros países tenían que adoptar el rito latino. Es fenómeno se llama liturgia glagolítica y su canto, específico para ella, se llama canto glagolítico. Contrasta con el gregoriano o el bizantino en que tiene una grandísima influencia de la música popular. Es más, el regiones como Istria o Dalmacia, el canto glagolítico cuesta distinguirse del popular.
Entre esos cantos está el que te traigo hoy, titulado Puče moj, es decir, "Popule meus". Son los famosos improperios de viernes santo. Procede de la isla de Hvar en Croacia. Se trata de una obra muy bella, en el habitual estilo croata, casi cantando en fabordón. En día como hoy, sobran las palabras y lo mejor es dar paso a la música. Feliz Viernes Santo.

te tu aperuisti lancea latus meum.
