“Of Men and Gods / Des Hommes et des Dieux” - ACL,
like all empires (or superpowers) they have had their fair
share of “black history”. The surviving Trappist monks
from the Monastery of Tibhirine moved from Algeria to
Morocco (Midelt) to set up a new monastery. The good
news is that converts to Christianity are increasing slowly
but surely in the Maghreb, although it currently remains
unwise to be openly Christian given the radicalisation
of certain elements within the Islamic faith. RC.
