British Joker Diplomat Severely Reprimanded

31 years old Anjoum Noorani, the British diplomat who authorized a memo mocking the Pope and Catholic teachings has kept his job but been given a severe reprimand by the Foreign Office. He is banned from overseas postings and will remain on a final warning for the next five years because of the severity of his actions. Noorani remains suspended but when he returns to work he will not be allowed to have any role in the historic first papal state visit to Britain in September. His position as leader of the papal visit team has now been taken by George Edgar, a former ambassador.
