An article in Juno News titled, "Teachers in Simcoe trained to keep gender & sexuality clubs secret from parents" has disturbing information for parents. It reports that the Simcoe County District School Board has in-serviced teachers on how to start student Gender and Sexuality Alliance Clubs (GSA). This is bad enough, but it gets much worse. Teachers are told that parents need not be informed about the training nor the resources used. Morality aside, is this even legal? For the school year 2024-2025, teachers were instructed to keep the so called "professional development" about GSAs private. The new rule being: “What is said in the meeting stays in the meeting.” It was all done with the goal of creating "safe spaces" for students. However, who are the so called "trusted staff advisors" allowed to start these clubs? Who decides what the club does? And why were parents kept in the dark? The Archdiocese of Prague has welcomed plans for a new Holy Trinity Church in Neratovice. The church is set to become one of the country’s first major parish churches to be built using 3D printing technology. The project is under preparation since fall 2024.
