This video shows a pilgrimage made to Lisieux and Alencon for the beatification of St. Therese's parents, Louis & Zelie Martin in October 2008.

This video shows a pilgrimage made to Lisieux and Alencon for the beatification of St. Therese's parents, Louis & Zelie Martin in October 2008.
There were many activities for pilgrims as well such as seeing the Carmelite chapel and relic room that had just reopened after renovation work. In Alencon, the birth house of St. Therese was being renovated and pilgrims were allowed into the chapel but not the house.
Cardinal Jose Saraiva Martins, prefect emeritus of the Congregation for the Causes of the Saints, was the principal celebrant for the beatification of Louis & Zelie Martin.
