Archbishop Josef Grünwidl of Vienna, Austria, who was appointed by Pope Leo XIV on 17 October, would rather have parishes without priests than have the faithful drive distances to attend a Eucharist. He told the Austrian state broadcaster ORF (October 30): "I believe that we should not think of the Church in terms of priests, but in terms of parishes. We cannot say: there are fewer priests, so there must also be fewer parishes. My approach is different: we should ask ourselves what parishes need in order to remain alive locally – even if there is no priest present every Sunday. It's about empowering parishes to live independently. This includes having women and men who support and organize parish life, even if a priest is no longer regularly available as in the past." Cardinal Gerhard Müller on the Vatican allowing Muslims to set up for prayer in the Vatican library: This is a “self-relativization of the Catholic Church”
LUMEN GENTIUM 16,126 But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Muslims, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind. This shows how Vatican II belongs in the trash can

On 23 October, Andrea Gagliarducci commented on Pope Leo XIV’s speech to the World Meeting of Popular Movements. The main points are as follows: - Leo's remarks sounded very similar to those of his controversial predecessor. - All of the South American Pope’s key themes were present, including the idea that the centre can best be seen from the peripheries, the Church’s support for popular movements in their struggles for land, housing and jobs, and the exaltation of grassroots movements pursuing bottom-up solutions. - Leo XIV chose to address a unique South American audience, which some have summarised as 'the Social Forum brought to the Vatican'. - References to Christ are missing. - Leo XIV’s ‘civilisation of love’ seems to be particularly social rather than real. - His speech to popular movements has awakened those who see continuity between Pope Francis and Leo XIV. - Leo XIV continues to work within the same structure as his predecessor, using the same ghostwriters as Pope Francis. …More

Perhaps Prevost is no Bergoglio, as he is quiet and doesn’t insults catholics like Bergoglio did, but his fuits speaks volumes of whom he really is... a false prophet. Mother Miriam out of kindness, wont go that far, but Jesus told us about whoever claims to come of Him, but in reality is a false prophet, He says to look at their fruits. * The majority of Leo's appointments are pro gay and un-catholic minded. * He already was excommunicated by promoting his elevation to the papacy through various means. * He did betray our Lord by saying we don’t have the entire truth. * Pushing Francis apostasy and heresies on unsuspecting catholics. * Persecution and closure, through third parties, of the Latin Mass. * Promoting false deities. * Promoting false religions. * Promoting a false church (synodal), instead of the the one our Forefathers taught and even died for. * Promoting mother earth and climate change lunacy. * Promoting arianism to the entire world. * And on and on... Again, this is …More
Matthew 7:17.20 "Every good tree produces good fruit, but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit. A good tree can’t produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit. Every tree that doesn’t grow good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them."
@123jussi, john333, V.R.S. Yall are completely wrong. I had hoped that yall were knowledgeable and enlightened Catholics. I am very disappointed. See these 2 Communion in the Hand proofs… “Well, here again we know that until the ninth century communion was received in the hand, standing.”(Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger/ Pope Benedict XVI, “God is Near Us”, Ignatius Press, page 70). “As a scholar of the early Church, I was surprised to learn that the practice of communion in the hand is such a hotly debated topic; it came to my attention during the early days of the pandemic, when many dioceses required communicants to receive in this way. Whatever one thinks about the practice today and its reemergence after Vatican II, it is important that our conversation be grounded in an accurate picture of the history of this practice. Receiving communion in the hand was the common practice of the Church in both East and West for the first 800 years of Christianity, and it was certainly considered …More
Saint of the Day: Vigil of All Saints, October 31 Before the many liturgical changes which took place in recent times, Major feasts were preceded by vigils, which were penitential in nature, fasting and violet as a liturgical color. The Vigil of All Saints was a reminder to do penance and practice virtue in preparation for joining the ranks of the Saints. All Saints in Heaven, pray for us!
