If I were to advise the pro Life people, I would tell them to borrow a page from the leftist Saul Alinsky. Find out where these assailants live. Take a still picture of the man sexually asaulting the Pro Lifer and make a large poster of the event. Demonstrate in the man's neighbor hood with a sign saying "Your Neigbor is a pervert" or "A sexual assailant" "Your neighbor is a bully." "Your Neighbor is a thief" etc. etc. The key is to go to the person's own neighborhood. I bet they stop.

I hope that we all should look around every corner as if God is about to appear and to stay awake to the opportunity of God's grace, in both pain and in joy.

Thank you for this insightful homily delivered in a gentle and sincere manner. May all mothers take hope from Monica and pray for their children. To be a witness to Christ does not require us to shout and make scenes. A gentle and persistant presentation of the truth is that small whispering voice of God in our midst. I pray that you will continue on the path of priesthood you are on and be under the protection of our Blessed Mother.

I am always impressed by Fr. Pacwa's knowledge and ability to bring history alive even when he has a soar throat like in this video. St. Peter Claver like all saints was truly remarkable.

Good homily. Lighting was poor. But I pray for this priest to continue to spread the good news of God's mercy and our need for repentance and humility.

The challenge to follow the hard path of virtue is important and the reminder of how easy it is to commit serious sin is covered in this homily. I think all need to hear this message and apply it to our lives.

If we ever do get accurate statistics on clergy from other religions, I suspect that they will mirror exactly what we find among Catholic clergy. Jerzy Kluger, his boyhood Jewish friend wrote a wonderful bio, "The Hidden Pope: The Untold Story of a Lifelong Friendship That Is Changing the Relationship Between Catholics and Jews - The Personal Journey of John Paul II"

This was a deeply moving moment. John Paul II as a youth often visited the local synagogue in his town for cultural events. He lived in a home with his father that was owned by a Jewish Family who lived in the same dwelling. One of his closest friends was Jewish. He would refer to the Jews as "Our Older brothers in faith."

Though this is not a liturgical performance it helps explain why Pius XII approved the accordion for use in the liturgy.

The Pope's respect for other religions and especially Judaism is obvious. John Paul II who grew up in a home owned by and occupied by a Jewish family was even closer. The future of the Church seems bright when we look at the faith in Africa and the Orient.

Let us pray that this little girl will always use her talent to give glory to God who gave her such talent. The grace she is too young to truly understand will have to be her protection in a world determined to destroy her innocenc and steal her talent.

Jesus loved the Pharisees but they were on the wrong path because they reduced their rich and revealed religion to following external rules and laws. This made them very judgmental against others who did not follow the 613 laws. That made them feel superior which in turn led to their internal corruption. A sweeping, wonderful overview of the history of God's Grace from Abraham, through Moses, to Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter. Alleluia! He connected the dots to bring out God's profound plan of salvation and how we can apply that plan to our own lives with the help of the resurrected Lord. He gives us hope for our salvation and all those we love who have died. Quite a homily!

Concern for the poor permeates the scriptures. The Prophets of Israel all insisted that true worship always entailed care of the weak, the widow, and the poor. These readings culminating with the Gospel stresses the obligation to be generous and loving. Too many people ignore God and the poor. Too many are superficially concerned about God but ignore the poor or even despise them and reveal the true state of their souls.
