Wow is this guy real? He sounds like such a nice fellow. Isn't he just wonderful . . . We're in deep trouble with leader like this that say a lot but do nothing.
There is no "message" being sent from the Vatican concerning modern art or from the liturgical office.
Do they really think the liturgical office is doing anything to improve the liturgy? Of course he may say that the current art being added to the temples of Vatican II is not art but the office still allows them to put it up. So - hey … [More]

Good for our Holy Father!
The problem is that due to the lack of meaningful enforcement by the last four popes - without followup - this means nothing. I'll wait . . . to see what he does.
I'm not sure if others have noticed but vocations are at a near all time low! Did I miss the vatican II springtime? When was that great and wonderful moment?

Good for Bishop Campbell!
Just think standing up for the teachings of the Church what a interesting concept for a Bishop to do. So - this Bishop needs to be acknowledged for his direct support of Church teachings? This must be very unique for U.S. Bishops to do. I also didn't read that he had received any support from his fellow bishops at USCCB. hmmmm . . . I wonder why? What makes his actions so different that they would not rally around him?
Again Good for Bishop Campbell!

Vatican II turned the stupid loose in all the ccb's of the world including the U.S. It is clear that most Bishops and many Cardinals of the world today have demonstrated (publicly) that they have little faith or belief in Jesus Christ or His Church. Just look at Cardinal Dolan in New York he is an embarrassment to himself and all Catholics. "stupid is as stupid does" May Our Lord have mercy on us!

The N.O. Mass is failing anyone who is interested can see that.
So if the Holy Father Pope Francis continues with the Mass of Pope Paul VI (the religion of man) then we must wait a little longer for our leaders to return to the Catholic Faith and then our punishment will continue.

Well well -- good for you Bishop Fellay. Stand your ground and keep up the good work! I agree with Michel-René Landry.
What an interesting contrast. Bishop Fellay is opening new seminaries, new schools and expanding the work of SSPX. While other Conciliar Bishops are rapidly closing seminaries, schools and parishes.
There is a very direct correlation here - I wonder if any religious are getting the message. I pray they are.

What a shame that we are still promoting, out of touch, Vatican II priests to the Chair of Peter. It is so very apparent to everyone else that Vatican II is a out right failure. What part of this failure don't they want to understand. Would someone please take these people into their local church, seminary or convent and show them that they're closed or empty! Birds of the feather flock together - he will vote for the most feminine man in the conclave. One who will look the other way when others are sodomized. Also one, like Joseph Ratzinger, who will not discipline him in anyway.

This is a good repeated example of just how (stupid or) low some religious thinking have fallen. With a cost of $660,000,00 in just California we haven't learned a thing. We better wake up or suffer the same fault. This bishop needs to be relieved of his duties and replaced. But with no enforcement of Church teachings this is just another meaningless vatican II byproduct.
