He Calle Back: Pope Francis gave on August 8th a 20-minute live interview on the Argentinean radio station Radio Virgen del Carmen in the Diocese of Añatuya. He spoke in general terms about Christian life and said things like “Jesus is so good” or “Jesus loves us” or “God loves us”. In conclusion, Francis imparted his blessing on all the listeners, and when the connection was lost, he called back to say goodbye to the two priests who interviewed him.

No Reduction of Guilt: The deceased American actor and stand-up comedian Robin Williams has been a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church. He described his denomination in a comedy routine as "Catholic Lite—same rituals, half the guilt". The Episcopalian reduction of guilt came though with a price: Williams died this Monday from suicide.

Tax Demon: Lorna McDonald a 46-year-old mother from Belle Vale, Liverpool has called in a priest claiming she's been assaulted and bruised by a terrifying demon living in her spare room and which forced her daughter to move out. During a visit of a priest a small Buddha statue is said to have been flung across the room while the priest was saying prayers. The possible reason for the demon: McDonald is being forced to pay a controversial bedroom tax but now claims her spare room is occupied by the demon. She is currently in arrears on the property.

Who Catches The Pig? A fundraiser is causing some controversy in a small town in Wisconsin. It is an annual tradition for St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stephensville, but animal activists are calling it cruel. The goal is to pick up a pig and place part of it on top of a barrel within 45 seconds. Hundreds of people pay to watch the event. The parish has stated that consideration is taken to ensure that the pigs are safe and free from any abuse.

I think this world has always loved sin but in resent years has been even more excepting of anyones sinful actions. We are taught as Christians to think to "turn the other cheek" or "not to judge" or "get the plank out of your eye" by liberal clergy and non believes. They not only take the Scriptures out of context but also are afraid to condemn anyone because that would mean they would have to examine their lives as well. I am a firm believer in "hate the sin and love the sinner"! Now a days its "love or ignore the sin and love the sinner superficially" But not truly love the sinner because if we truly loved someone you would not want him to go to hell; so we would tell him he is wrong! So now the clergy and most Catholics want to not rattle anyone feathers so they don't condemn anyone's actions! This is the atmosphere of our church today. Divorced remarried people receiving communion, gays being told its ok to practice their "lifestyle" BY BISHOPS, communion in the hand, chewing gum in church and receiving and 1000 other bad things because no one wants to stand up to anyone! Well Robin Williams was a sinful man and his actions were anything but virtuous! If he is in heaven its through Gods mercy and nothing else! May God have mercy on his soul but exposing his sins can be a warning call to others. More people need to hear this!

Regarding Robin Williams, let's remember to try (because is hard) to put the other cheek, despite whatever he has said in the past, in the past belongs... this man was loved by many Catholics and even Martians 😁 , It is our hope that by some Divine Mercy Miracle, God Almighty would in His infinite power made him to repent... @frpope:
Remember saint Ignatius: "Let it be presupposed that every good Christian is to be more ready to save his neighbor's proposition than to condemn it." You should be more careful when condemning. I don't think that the news says what you want it to say.

We don't judge anyone, we love by telling them exactly what the word of God says, that's all... when cardinal Dolan said of that poor young linebacker Michael Sam: "Good for him, (about him declaring to be gay), bravo -replied the cardinal- we shouldn't judge" he committeda grave mistake by doing eexactly what the world does for their own, celebrating sin.

When you say the truth, IT'S NOT JUDGEMENT, but if you repeat what's in the bible you are NOT judging but telling people the truth, and telling people that sin is not something to celebrate or be proud of, instead... seeking to be pure because you love Jesus is what we all should do... condemning people to hell is not for us, but for Jesus... but telling them the truth is a must, is an act of love.

Only God sees the mind and heart of a man.
Who can claim to be able to judge her life and decide his eternal death?
When a man dies, God alone has the right to judge.
yuca2111
That's right temp, don't judge is simply... do not be a hypocrite!!! why we say this? John 7:24 "Judge not by appearances but judge righteously"

Ahhh! The famous Scripture to not judge other that everyone likes to use out of context!
It’s clear that Jesus did not intend his words to be used as a cover for immoral behavior. Didn't Jesus say to correct your brothers faults!
He did not mean them to be used as a conversation stopper to shut down attempts to admonish people immoral behaviors.
Did Jesus not say to be as clever as serpents!

I would like to think I have the immorality beam out of my eye!

But I can see this is a "touchy" subject for some.

God have Mercy.

Our Lord says: “Judge not, that you may not be judged” (Matt. 7:1) and our Lord exhorts us to do this: “Cast first the beam out of thine own eye, and then thou shalt see clearly to take out the mote from thy brother's eye” (Luke 6:42). It is always those who are blind to their faults who are most keenly alive to the faults of others. It is an ugly and shameless thing to do.

On the account of Christian Charity one must pray that God may have mercy on the soul of Robin Williams.

There is nothing humorous about it! And I am not giving any "snide" remarks. Its not me that lacks class but Mr. Williams lifestyle he lead! I have only spoken the truth and if this hurts anyone so be it. I call a spade a spade. Let the world see the fruits of Robin's life. This only shows how some Catholic's think nowadays after Vatican 2! We Catholics have become tolerant of sinful lifestyles. …More

If what I said is false tell me and I will say I was wrong, I am open to the truth. If not I stand by my words.

De mortuis nil nisi bonum. Your snide remark regarding the dead actor lacks class and really illustrates what a nasty little segment your news thing has become. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. The Episcopal denomination has ten thousand things wrong with it, but Mr. Williams' suicide ought not to be linked there. Pray for him and save your cheap humor for less sensitive moments

Yes God has the final judgment. But one can make an estimated guess on where he went from what the Gospel teaches and the Church. Robin Williams was a sinful man. He ridiculed the Church the body of Christ. He was a strong supporter of homosexual rights! a HUGE supporter! He knew the truth about Gods law but did not except it but rebelled and lead others astray, many, many people astray! He had …More

He ridiculed the Church the body of Christ. He was a strong supporter of homosexual rights! a HUGE supporter! He knew the truth about Gods law but did not except it but rebelled and lead others astray, many, many people astray! He had millions and mostly did the Devils work with his money! Unless he repented at the last moment one would have to conclude he is in hell. I don't see how he could have repented seeing he took his own life! Which is another mortal sin. Do bipolar sufferers get a free pass on suicide?! If so all the other sins still stand. But God has the final word, but I for one would not want to be Robin Williams at his judgment!

NO! Robin William was a Bipolar sufferer; depression is NOT, I repeat NOT sin!! One does expect much more Christian Charity from a Christian people....

Thats the beautiful thing about confession , we Catholics confess our sins and forget them like Christ. Now Mr. Williams is burning for all eternity from his cowardly sinful act. Its a shame that his last act was not funny at all but truly sad! Money and fame cannot buy happiness. Hollywood is a corrupt place as well as that crazy episcopal religion.
