soundingjoy is correct Bob Jones papist-you seem to feel the need to single out her liking the video as a product of her being Protestant-a needless comment on your part implying that somebody must be Protestant to "like" or "understand" this video. soundingjoy is not being overly sensitive she just reacted to something you should have kept to yourself all along! Just because you yourself am a convert to Catholicism does not give you any special insight into the human soul. I've been Catholic my whole life so I guess that makes me a person who saw the truth long before you did. Do you wish me to lecture you on your years of blindness wanderring confusedly in the desert?

Holy Cannoli,... yes, I have been there a couple of times. First trip, visited from North to as far south as Capri. Visited Lago Maggiore, up north and the island of Isola Bella where St. Charles Borromeo lived; to Venice and surrounding islands,... Milano, Padua, Genoa, San Marino (beautiful), Pisa, Urbino, Gubbio, San Gimignano, Siena, Orvieto, Viterbo, Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento and the Island of Capri.
Second visit was mostly in Roma (quite memorable), and did get to see San Giovanni Rotundo and Padre Pio's cell, etc. Guess we've gotten off topic here, so as to not bore other posters in the future, we can PM.

I'm embarrassed to say, I've never eaten pasta made from scratch. Some friends and I get together once a week for lunch at their restaurant. One week we order Pizza (take out from an Italian pizzeria) and the next week it's steak Tortas (the guys are all Mexican).

I didn't ask but I would guess you are full blooded Italian since you are so into Italian cooking. I would also guess you are very good looking since I had a lady (English-Irish) once tell me that Italians are “beautiful people.” She, although Irish, was obviously blessed with a keen intellect. ;-)

I've been to Rome and Florence only once as part of a tour. I met an Italian lady who was the tour guide at the hotel our group stayed at. Her and I became acquainted and she soon came to Chicago to visit her brother who lived here and who was also in the tour business.

Those were in my wild apostate days so it's better not to give too many details other than to conclude by saying, I was not sad to see her go back to Rome. American Italians are not the same (culturally) as Italian Italians.
Still, we are all beautiful people. :-))))

HCannoli...Chicago has some great pizza, at least when I visited. Biscotti...your not Italian if you don't like biscotti. I use to make Ravioli, gnocchi, Lasagna and spaghetti noodles, you name it. Have you been to Italia?

I would expect that (non) Italian bakery in Rome you wrote about, would receive a lot of complaints.

Sicilian pastry deserts?

Cannoli is something I know a thing or two about. First, they must be freshly stuffed and, prefereably, bought at an Italian bakery. However, you must exercise caution. Buying at an Italian bakery doesn't automatically mean you will be getting an authentic Cannoli.

Some bakeries who call themselves Italian are filling their Cannoli with pudding and not authentic Ricotta cheese. I have written to the Vatican and have asked many times that these Italian bakeries be excommunicated. So far, nothing. Next, I'm talking to Tony Soprano.

.you are extremely sensitive, and read into with assumptions peoples comments. actually any critique or criticism at all or slightly negative comment about something you write or produce, if not written with flowery group hug sentimentalism... you seem take or receive as hateful etc etc.. and are very defensive ,like i am sure you will with this one......
and yes i gave up watching cometaboys videos, have critiqued and complained to him personally in the past/
but because they are generally silly or awful. or confused., thus i dont critique what i dont bother watching anymore.

You point out with intolerance my understanding of Christ, now let me hear you speak out about this lude, explicit, sexual video. I don't hear you.
