A short history of the Holy Bible.
How come there are people out there who claimed that they can interpret scriptures, the Holy Bible when their interpretation are against the Church that choose the books in the Holy Bible?
Isn't it the perrogatives of the Church to interpret the Bible? If we believe that the Bible is the Word of God, isn't it true that we believe this authority has the right to teach me what is authentic Christianity, what the Bible is trying to teach us?
Not by merely believing that I am guided by Holy Spirit, and thus I can interpret the Bible without the guidance of the Church. This is because those who choose to apply this mentality to interpret the Bible, cause the division of the Church and not the unity of the Christian faith.
