Too Triumphalistic: In a letter for the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, Pope Francis has praised the Second Vatican Council. Quote: “It produced an irreversible movement of renewal which comes from the Gospel.” Gloria.tv humbly believes that a realistic assessment of this Council should be less triumphalistic.

Signs Of Respect: Pope Francis received yesterday King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium. The 42-year-old queen arrived in a wheelchair before transitioning to crutches at the start of the audience because of her knee injury she sustained during a fall. Donning a white dress and matching coat, Mathilde was exercising her "privilège du blanc" right – the tradition whereby certain Catholic royals are allowed to wear white during an audience with the Pope. She covered her hair with a cream lace mantilla out of respect for Pope Francis.

Harsh Cardinal: An allegedly “harsh” stance adopted by Catholic clerics towards homosexuals, divorcees and single mothers has done lasting harm according to Manila Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle speaking to the British Telegraph. He recommended mercy for those sins accepted by the mainstream. According to some, harsh words are reserved in Tagle’s mercy doctrine only for those who want to follow Jesus Christ and the doctrine of his Church.

The Christian owners of a bakery in Indiana have had to close up shop after respectfully declining to bake a cake for a homosex commitment ceremony because of their religious beliefs. Having to deal with a media firestorm and the ensuing controversy as a result of the cordial refusal, the cake-baking couple decided to call it quits. Matthew Archbold comments on creativeminorityreport.com: “Maybe these Christian bakers could all get employed as public school teachers. That way they could never be fired.”
la verdad prevalece
🤮 🤮 🤮 Luis Antonio Tagle is an apostate.
