AClumsden due to this Globalized world it is getting more difficult to differentiate between many once great countries-The United States in all that it has done wrong has been the best example of greatness the world has seen in 300 years but I agree with you that sadly The United States has fallen from grace like the U.K. The greatest days of The United States are in the past because through the evil of abortion, homosexuality promoted as normalcy and the lack of regard for God the United States currently is in dire straits. I do not say that The United States is the greatest country (was in many ways now) to belittle other nations I just say that the "ideal" of and what it has been could be again if people of this and other nations would turn back to God. I think The United States is dying from Political Correctness like the U.K. is and the only hope our countries have is a return to God and a return to rational, common sense thought processes.

But one can not help but wonder, with the US economy on the slump (the CDN is actually stronger than the USD), and our Sterling still rather superior in this regard, "greatest" might not be the word suitable to the USA just now. Furthermore, all empires fall, from the great Chinese dynasties to the Persian, Greek, Roman; then the greats of Western Europe - Spain, Portugal, Great Britain, France, etc.

To let Radicals call for the death of the Queen, make threats on Our Pope's life and not have these radicals instantly deported, thrown into prison or executed makes my argument valid. I also detest the liberals within my own government in exactly the same manner. The United States still is the greatest country in the world (people that contend to hate us even want to live here!) but like Rome our country is on the decline and could be destroyed like the U.K. is being ravaged by "The Enemy Within". "You don't have to fear the enemy outside your gates as much as you do the enemy within them."

The United States is being hollowed out by its massive military expenditure and the export of its remaining manufacturing jobs to Asia (India/China).
