Nice little discernment chat going on here. I don't know if you caught that line "We're staying with the Church" but that is Br. Elijah, he is a phenomenal musician and I saw him perform on EWTN when St. Vincent hosted the Mother Teresa thing earlier this year. O yeah, that is a great line to hear with so many orders these days going away from the Church.

I agree, this Abbey is having a serious renewal in the Holy Spirit. The Abbot there, the Rt. Rev. Douglas Nowicki, OSB is truly a man of God and the younger members of the community (the Juniors - whom I met last year) and I would imagine the 5 new Novices are super authentic and definitely striving to give their lives for Christ...I was totally surprised and spiritually awakened at St. Vincent and …More

Br. Gabriel, This video looks AWESOME, I want to get a hold of you guys to schedule a visit...after seeing all that the Lord is doing at the Monastery I think that your house may be worth a look. I just spent some time with the Friars of the Renewal in Harlem and I expressed to the my interest in Benedictine life and the brothers recommended that I look at St. Vincent. I will be in touch.
