This was the assessment of Benedict XVI this morning when he received in private audience the credentials of Iraq's new ambassador to the Holy See, Habbeb Mohammed Ali Radi al-Sadr. During the meeting, the Pope expressed his concerns about a country where, often, innocent people pay with their blood for the senseless fury of hate.
