In Spain, organization of the next World Youth Day is in full swing. And this morning a delegation of promoters of next year's meeting in Madrid was received by Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican. The Pope invited those present to continue with enthusiasm and joy to bring about World Youth Day 2011, confident that this "beautiful initiative" is not simply a mass meeting, but an excellent opportunity for young people to be conquered "by the love of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Mary, the faithful friend, the conqueror of sin and death." "Those who trust in Him," the Pope insisted, "will never be disappointed, but will find the strength to choose the right path in life."
