fatimavirtualApril 26, 2007 Sister Lucy dos Santos, the lone surviving seer of Fatima, died in her Carmelite Convent in Coimbra on February 13, 2005. When she was buried in the convent cemetery last February, it was announced that she would be moved to Fatima in about a year. Her wish was to be eventually entombed in the Fatima Sanctuary next to her holy cousins. This translation (move) of her body occurred on Sunday, February 19, 2006.

By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I implore You, if it should be for Your greater glory and the good of our souls, to glorify Sr. Lucy, one of the Shepherds of Fatima, by granting us the grace which we implore through her intercession.

Sr. Lúcia wrote detailed accounts or "memoirs" of her cousins for their canonization process. These are available for free online in several languages as Fatima in Lúcia’s own words. A second volume was published containing Lúcia's memoirs of her mother and father.
