Venom Masquerading as a Politician: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has lashed out at San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone for wanting to attend the March for Marriage event in Washington DC. An angry Pelosi called the March – quote - “venom masquerading as virtue” and defended homosexualism. Bill Donohue, the president of the Catholic League, answered: “When gays go naked in the streets of San Francisco, and mock Catholicism in patently obscene ways, Pelosi is never offended. What offends her is her archbishop’s public defense of the Church’s teachings on marriage. Nice to know what her moral compass looks like.”
Innocent: Father Patrick Serna, parish-priest of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Sinton, Texas, has been found not guilty of assaulting a teenager. The ordeal started for the priest early last year. A family accused him of hitting their son who at the time was serving as an altar boy at Sernas parish. In a statement, the diocese of Corpus Christi said that the verdict "affirms Fr Sernas innocence and upholds the investigative findings of the diocese."
He Crashed Under the Homosexual Hammer: Alberta Tory leadership hopeful Ric McIver has apologized for his participation in last weekend’s March for Jesus organized by the Protestant Street Church. McIver had originally written on Facebook that he attended the parade to celebrate his Roman Catholic faith and had attended the march for the last four years. Street Church is persecuted in Canada for criticizing homosexuality, abortion and divorce.
Neoconservative Information: The Denver-based “Catholic News Agency” and its Spanish speaking sister organization, ACI Prensa, with headquarters in Lima, Peru have been swallowed up by the EWTN Global Catholic Network. Alejandro Bermudez, a member of the Sodality of Christian Life is currently the executive director of both CNA and ACI Prensa Group. He will continue to serve in that capacity. This expansion of EWTN will not contribute to a diversification of Catholic information.

Alejandro Bermúdez who now has control over EWTN News has forgotten what journalism is like much of the liberal/progressive media who have become cheerleaders. He is selective and only publishes news when it is suitable for his personal agenda which is called “sin of omission” by those who know the truth and hide it thus they strain out gnats and swallow camels.
