Please, Don't call Protestants Christians.
The following video is an audio reading of an excellent article that appeared on the Tradition In Action website authored by Marian T. Horvat, Ph.D. In this article exposes the contradiction of calling Protestants (those who reject the One Church of Christ and reject many of Christ's teachings), Christians. Only those who actually believe and live according to what Christ taught and are united to the One Church that Christ founded can be called Christians. You can read the article at this link:

Please, don't call christians who grew up in a protestantic denomination "protestants". A protestant is somebody who denies something or is fighting against something. Christians who did not grew up in the catholic church are yet not able to understand many religious things, especially the ecclesiological term "church". Christians who did not grew up in the catholic church are yet not able to understand many religious things, especially the ecclesiological term "church". We have to explain it to them with empathy and patience - not with force or taking away from them the name "christian".

I notice that sometime is the opposite that when is convenient for somebody with bad intention they call Catholic Christians - Protestant
protest-ants..... those who PROTEST!! That should be obvious as to why we should never call them Christians. If we Catholics would call ourselves Catholic it would emphasize the value of being Catholic. As soon as the first one left the Church of Christ...it was THEN.... CATHOLIC AND protest-ants..
